I am not done watching 1994 and I hope we get as much of the early months of that year as possible but I am really struck by how much better the writing was from 92-94 than it was in any other period of the show.

Aside from the triangle and even Belief, I enjoyed the Sally/Jack/Stephanie triangle, the Sheila story, Thorne and Macy's marriage troubles, etc. It is crazy to me that Bill Bell seemed to step away this as this show was starting to reach its potential and not soon after you felt the decline.

I have obviously seen episodes from late 1994 after Hunter returned and it almost feels like a TOTALLY different show than it was before she left not just how it was written but it even LOOKED like a completely different show.

Hey guys, someone who is unable to register here sent me some info on dates they think are not correct. I'm not sure who originally uploaded them. Just wondering what are your thoughts? If some are not correct I can rename them. I just don't have time to research it now and I know some of you guys are good at this.

1992-06-11 = 1992-07-03
1992-09-18 = 1992-09-10
1992-12-16 + 17 = 1992-12-15
1992-12-18 = 1992-12-17
1992-12-21 = 1992-12-18
1992-12-22 = 1992-12-21
1992-12-23 = 1992-12-22

(they think 1992-12-24 is episode 1445: Stephanie gives Taylor a precious Christmasgift: a necklace that has been in her family for three generations. Stephanie then admits that, despite their rough start, she now considers Taylor her daughter.  )
1993-03-04 = 1993-03-03
1993-07-26 = 1993-07-29

They were also wondering about these dates in the vault, since these are suspected preemption dates:

1991-01-09, in the vault is a episode with this date #953. The next one is 1991-03-15,  1992-02-17 - 1228

Nikki said she added more episodes to 1994 and asked to remind everyone she doesn't have anything after Hunter left so Taylor's death will be the end of the 94 episodes.

Also what is everyone's general opinion of 1995 and 1996 B&B? I am finding those years a chore to watch - all of the focus on Rick and Bridget is nauseating. Why in the world was Brad Bell or whomever so in love with Steve Hartman? That kid ate up so much airtime.

@Vizion thank you for getting in contact with Nikki! I am so happy she uploaded these file. I wishe she could upload 1991 and 1992 episodes too, but i remmeber you said she lost them.

About 1995-1996 i do not remember much. Since i am Susan Flannery fan i remember the story with Stephanies poisoning and when Taylor returned the story between Eric - Taylor - Stephanie.

I hope some day will rewatch these episodes.

    • Good Morning, this is still funny to me but I totally enjoyed what makes up "DemetriKane" so unnecessary, who cares?!!! Glad you like the Emma Peel derivative story.
    • Christian Streaty penned today's Day's script. https://www.linkedin.com/in/christian-streaty/
    • Yes, they did.  I still have them.  I think there were three.  AMC and GH as well.
    • Ah okay, thats what I thought. I was hoping I missed the announcement somewhere. Thanks for the clarification.
    • A new day in Salem… and a new day for Days.  I like the way everybody found out and absorbed the news about John’s death, and how they all eventually found their way to Marlena’s to offer their condolences. I’m not particularly sure why they waited until the next day to tell everybody but I don’t really mind it.  We finally got Roman’s perspective! His scenes with Kayla were one of the best parts of today. I’m glad that Roman is thankful for everything that John did for his kids. I agree with posters who said that he should’ve had a scene like this with John, but I’m happy we got this at least.  Julie was used very well today too. She’s definitely the best person for Marlena to have scenes with at the moment. Hopefully, Julie continues to be there for her. And yes, I totally agree with Marlena and Belle sending EJ away when he came to the apartment. I’m curious to see what’s going to happen to his and Belle’s relationship in the aftermath of all this. And, while I enjoyed most of Brady and Kristen’s scenes, I still think the ship has sailed for them. Hopefully, the aftermath of John’s death causes Brady to finally end this thing with her once and for all.  And, I see a lot of people were wearing some kind of shade of purple today.

    • Wow, I love that current and former actors are participating in this. I barely recognize Staci Greason! She looks fine, just very different. But I will be happy to hear anecdotes from her. I shipped RoJohn and Isabella hard back in the day, and I sobbed buckets in my dorm room at college when Izzy B passed. Honestly, I'm interested in everyone's stories. Drake seemed like he was well loved among the cast.
    • When she first appeared, I was sure she was setting Tyrell up for a prank. She was too much of a manic pixie dream girl- I wasn't surprised Tyrell also became suspicious. Now I'm not so sure. If Jessica genuinely likes Tyrell, it seems like a missed opportunity to not have started her out as a bully, then we see her gradually catch feelings for Tyrell.  The McBrides are definitely the "C" family of BTG. They always get last priority. There have been a few times where the Doug/Vanessa/Joey characters reference off screen conversations which seem too important to not show us. Like when Doug thanked Joey for giving him extra time to pay off the loan. When did that happen? Or when we abruptly moved from Vanessa/Joey at Uptown to Vanessa/Doug in the hotel room. The McBrides don't even have their own set - even though Vanessa is a realtor. It's a shame because I am a fan of the characters and actors.

I am also adjusting to KR as Ted but I feel that AM and MJ had way more chemistry as father and daughter than AM and KR. We saw Eva dream of having a real relationship with MJ's version of Ted for months so it's a bit of a bummer not to have that payoff with the original actor except for those scenes in MJ's last episode.  Something I noticed about Eva today is how she takes genuine delight in being a schemer. As badly as she wants to be a Richardson, she still has so much of her mom in her. It was jarring seeing her earnestly promise to steer clear of Leslie in her scene with Ted, then immediately switch attitudes when her mom showed up.  I'm very surprised with how quickly the accident story has been moving along. I was sure that it would be months if not years before people figured out it was Leslie on the motorcycle, not to mention responsible for the potassium overdose. I'm looking forward to seeing how MVJ and Guza avoid writing Leslie into a corner.  Finally, I have been loving the Articulettes story. Bonita Brisker was just the right amount of OTT - remember Sharon is supposed to be even more angry than Tracy is. If Sharon didn't come in swinging, people would say she fell flat. The way Sharon and Tracy describe the breakup is so Supremes-meet-Original Recipe Destiny's Child. I get the sense that MVJ is re-writing the Return to Love Tour as a roman a clef, and I love it. I'm looking forward to finding out what the secret they share is. If Dante Green is as shady as Berry Gordy was, it's something dark. If/when they go through with the reunion, I expect Dante to show up and claim to own the Articulettes trademark in a Lou Pearlman-esque twist.
