June 21, 201114 yr Member It made SENSE for them to be Marlena and Tony's kids and I liked that something was being done with the time Marlena was locked up by Stefano and had no memories of it. But then they were rewritten to be Kate and Roman's kids -- I can't remember if that started with Dena and then Reilly finished it, or if it was him. Those two were far more invested in Kate/Roman that anyone else was, so I could see WHY they did it, but making them Bradys was just a mess.

I agree it was so stupid to make Rex and Cassie be Roman and Kate's kids - that was all Higley. Reilly would've had a ball writing for the next generation of Dimera's.
June 21, 201114 yr Administrator Actually, they explained both of these things, and I only know this because i ended up watching some of early brady stuff. Brady felt that him being sent away to school was due to Marlena not wanting a reminder of Johns time with Isabella (well thats what he claimed anyways). It seems actually that marlena didnt raise him and most of his late childhood/teens he was sent away. John did hate Maggie because of Brady. Because Maggie was always butting into his life and John felt it was non of her business. then she turned out to be correct about his addictions and John just never let go of it. Def laid the groundwork but they never followed up/re-explained the reasonings. Yeah, made up history. I didn't buy it.
June 21, 201114 yr Administrator Lumina (ANOTHER WORLD) made about as much sense as a U.S. Congressman "sexting" underaged girls, but it also was the first time AW's cast actually gave a damn, performance-wise, in quite a while, know what I'm sayin'? I LOVED the beginning of Lumina and the mysterious "Mr. Shoes" who was wreaking havoc. I thought DAM was so cool in this role. Then it went downhill after the "Amelie" angle began.
