Rumor has it that Frank Valentini is leaving early to take over at General Hospital. He is rumored to start at GH in September!!!!

I dont see it. GH JUST got a new head writer announcement and I dont think Garin is meant to be an interim writer. If Ron leaves OLTL, who the heck is going to come and write the end? Malone? I think they should have him stick it out. He's been there for years, knows the characters and currently in control. I cringe at what would happen to what could already be a potential clusterf--k in the Todd story if the original writer leaves mid-story. I dont see it happening

Where did the rumor come from?

If he joins GH, would he replace JFP?

I honestly think he should finish up at OLTL first, I hate the idea of him just leaving & kind of find it hard to believe; He has so much history with the show.

It doesn't make any sense for Frank to leave before the show ends.

Agreed this doesn't make a lot of sense. But keep us posted. FV should have went to Days along with RC I still hope for that one day

Oh my bad for misreading. Okay I can see Valentini moving over to GH more than Ron but I dont see that happening till after OLTL wraps up in November/Decmber.

I'd hate to see the depths RC would sink to if left totally unchecked. As if things aren't bad enough already.

I saw this rumor on twitter last night. Apparently Carol Banks Webber (or whatever he name is) tweeted, that on Ravenbeauty's facebook page people were writing about this in the comments.

Now where can I find a pic that features a huge grain of salt?

ETA: Oh, and also that Laura Wright is fired.

I read a rumor a while back about FV doing a bicostal thing for a few months, taking over GH and finishing up at OLTL at the same time. But

it was a rumor which I didnt take seriously. But heck if GH needs to cut more budget, I don't think JFP is objective enough to do whats

necessary and she's already proved incapable of managing within a budget. Who knows.
