I do miss Bobbie but I never felt like the show properly developed her as Carly's mother anyway. I stopped watching regularly around 2000 or 2001 so perhaps it happened after that but I was constantly annoyed at how little Guza did with their relationship when SJB was in the role. Then I realized that Guza basically hated family.

There was some pretty decent stuff with Tamara Braun's Carly. Up until about 2004/2005 when Jackie got completely faded out.
