Here's hoping DAYS continues to reach new lows. It's a sad when watching paint dry is more entertaining then the show itself. Corday needs to do something soon before the Hack sends the show off the air.

Yeah, Days is bad, but I want them to bounce back in the ratings. I'm almost disgusted with every storyline on Days.

Why? If the ratings bounce back, Corday will think firing Whitesell solved the problem and we'll be stuck with Higley even longer.

The show is safe until 2013, so if there was ever a time for the ratings to plummet without the risk of immediate cancellation, the time is now. Something has got to happen to wake Corday up.

OMG! That's huge! I've never seen that happen before! I love it... Screw you, Brian Frons

It was my understanding that DAYS and BB received two-year renewals and YR a three-year renewal last year in 2010. So that puts DAYS/SONY's contract with NBC through Oct/Nov. 2012, not 2013. And if any decision is going to be made, it will likely be made by this time next year, before NBC figures out its fall schedule, so DAYS really has another year before a decision is made.

No. Days/Y&R/B&B already had renewals through 2011. They just happened to get renewed earlier than usual. Days and BB are here through at least 2013 and Y&R 2014.

Cant believe OLTL beat GH by so many viewers, its most likely a one week thing but still nice to see. The show is really good right now.

Not that Total Viewers matter but OLTL beat GH by 215,000.

Thanks Toups! I love it! I wish NBC would buy OLTL!!!

DAYS has nothing on it that interests me right now. I'm glad they've wrapped up the Ciara/Theo running away storyline and it looks like the end is near for the double Rafe storyline. Maybe after those atrocities, something good will come up.

Toups, did DAYS go up at all in total viewers?

Sorry, but no. The two-Rafes story lasts at least until mid-July, if not beyond. Peter Reckell confirmed it today on Twitter.

Thanks. Didn't know that.

Good grief Kenny! Not the news I or anyone else were hoping to hear :(

All this double-Rafe stuff, and not even one good split-screen shot of them yet. Must be too expensive. Hell, they don't even use background ambient noise when people are standing outside. Dead silent while standing on a pier... who knew that was possible?

Oh God. Don't get me started on the production values. Just awful.

How expensive can it be to add in sounds of "outside noises" (water lapping against the docks, birds chirping, etc.) in post-production?

Thanks Toups. I will be interested to hear how OLTL ends up doing.

Except for a few days, OLTL has kept me interested in all storylines. Even characters I am not fan of.
