Very cool, CarlD2 and again thank you. I've had so many articles that I've discarded over the years that I wish I'd saved so it's fun to see these old stories and photos. It's interesting to read how much detail RS puts into the character of Dorian from the colors to the make up. In the end it all makes a bold statement, kind of like the character.

I really love her work as Dorian and how she worked with the character. I'm glad we were left with enough to have a decent goodbye to Dorian...if we ever really say goodbye.

Yeah, it could've been worse. Frank and Ron could have killed off Dorian in some grisly serial-killer storyline as a last-ditch effort to save the show from cancellation.

Does anyone have an article from 1993 (I think in SOD) where James DePaiva and Fiona Hutchison were interviewed together? I saw an SOD description on a site that sells old magazines, and it said it included a section where fans of each show were asked which two stars (I'm thinking one past and one present, probably couples) they wanted interviewed together the most, and JDP and FH were chosen for OLTL. If ANYONE has a copy of it, I'd LOVE to see it posted. Thanks!

Great find! I've started reading the articles in the behind the scenes thread. It's thoughtful of you to take the time to post them. Fans like me really appreciate it. RE Dorian/RS, I am choosing to focus on the positive and I am OK with her final scenes. That's not to say that I wouldn't mind one of the characters mentioning that Dorian and Herb ran into each other in Washington or something about Cassie.

When I find more I'll be sure to post them for you.

The good thing about her leaving for a new life is that we can imagine whatever ending we want for her. That's the best part.
