FauxBo/Tina make my eyes hurt.

Faux Bo! LOL!! Carl, were you watching OLTL when that story played out? I thought it was great fun. For me, it was probably the last gasp of the great Paul Rauch era. I have some old clippings from magazines and OLTL tied with Y&R for number one in the weekly ratings for the climax of that story. Do you remember the "shocking" ending of that story?wink.png

I didn't start watching until the mid-90s. I've seen clips of the story, and it just creeps me out a little, I guess because it's so crazy and then because Tina ended up being pregnant with his child. The rest of the Faux Bo story seems like fun though.

I remember the conclusion (the death of Didi) very well.

I liked the story, and the death was really a suprise to me. However, I HATED the actor who played Lord Bove. I thought that he was so amateurish!

^^^^That's Max & Gabrielle's first love scene on the show in 1988 (second overall, if you include Argentina in flashback).

Fiona Fest had it up, but YouTube never has. Wonder why?

This is interesting.

Some interesting anecdotes, including Lee Warrick (Julie Siegel) claiming that she of all people was poised to potentially return to the show but backed off after 9/11. I can't imagine who would've wanted to bring Julie back, and for what - the character was gone by the mid-'70s.

I wonder if they may have said that Mark Toland was involved in the Natalie/Jessica switch. Obviously TLJ wasn't going to appear, but Julie was Mark's wife for several years.

I don't see how considering Mark had been dead for a decade in real life time when Nat/Jess were born. Mark died before Kevin and Joey were born.

Then again, when did violation of established history ever stop anyone at OLTL?

I couldn't remember if he'd died or not, but yeah, that would have been off. I still wonder if they might have tried it though - imagine if they recast him and said he'd been going by Walter Balsom and had been with Roxy.

Ron would have done it.

I can't wait for this book, actually. The stuff on the FB feed alone is riveting.

I think Tomlin might have done it too.

Either that or they were trying to get Tom Berenger back in a cameo.

I think Tim may have been dead longer than Mark Toland.

Mark was murdered in May 1975. Tim died after a fall down the stairs at Llanview Hopsital in March 1976.

I mean this sincerely in the nicest way: Please never stop making me look bad.
