So after 3 the Dopples on Y&R, THIS is edgy story they give Lucci? How creative. So disappointing and we wonder why casual fans and non-soap watcher make fun of the genre.

I actually think it could work. Because this isn't like normal. They think they're rescuing Erica. They think this over. They think, maybe the one they put in jail or whatever...is the doppelganger. But we'll know it's not. We'll know that the real Erica is still being held captive.

I can see why SL is excited for this. I'm excited for it, and I know doppelgangers don't usually work. IF they can make this into a good umbrella, with a mastermind, etc. it might work...
