2. I'm not disagreeing with you about EA & JVD at all but the point stands about the hypocrisy & lack of outrage about them compared to others.

Okay, but I'm asking 'like who?'

Cryptic macros do not change the fact that Jerry Ver Dorn and Eddie Alderson are two of the most compelling actors in their age range on the show. Why should I not want them around? Who should I be excusing instead?

I totally agree, Clint/JvD and Matthew/EA rock. EA is definitely my favorite young actor on the show and Jerry verDorn is my favorite actor overall right now. Their characters need to stay out of jail lol.

It's kind of ridiculous how Eddie went from one of the show's most consistently bad young actors to its best in the space of less than a year, around 2009. I found it very abrupt but he is now easily the best teen on the show.

About what? Blair started on this show as a vixen and her past is an open book. She doesn't shy away from it. What does that have to do with what's Jack done to Shane Morasco?

This Jack has made it clear that he respects nothing and no one but Todd, whose lifestyle and madness in the last five to ten years have created an environment in which his son can be led to believe "Marty asked for it."

This is true. Starr got written out of it to become our teen heroine when I actually enjoyed her devious little streak.

As bad as Starr was she's never done anything as bad as what Jack did to Shane (let alone say Marty deserved to be raped).

That's all Todd's influence.

I don't think either Clint or Matthew should go to jail. It's called Not Guilty By Reason Of Interesting.

 Jail is only fair, EA being fired is the real crime.

This years Young Actor Emmy should be his (watch it go to Nic Robuck).

Actually, I suppose you could do a summer juvie story with both Matthew and Jack, but I think that would just increase the latent gay chatter surrounding Charity Rahmer Mark II here. They have got to recast this little schmuck; his minor improvement in scenes with family is not enough and his voice is unbelievably grating. Hell, bring back CLP. He was never really tested in any serious scenes.

ETA: Oh, I'm sure ABC will pre-nom the Ford boys over Eddie and Austin Williams. Who really should be on contract again unless it was his choice to go off.

Nic Robuck, oh lord help us, LMAO. Too bad there's no Emmy for Best Abs in a Daytime Drama.

Blair doesn't own she's (and Dorian) served as bad role model for Jack, too.

Jack is aping Blair's behavior here, too, not just Todd's and until that is addressed Jack isn't going to behave any better b/c she has bulk of raising him. Blair lies, cheats, plays revenge games and Jack observes all this and follows in her footsteps, too.

It's like Carly heaping blame all on Sonny for Michael being so damaged when her poor life choices and thirst for revenge inflict just as much damage on him.

This Jack has made it clear that he respects nothing and no one but Todd, whose lifestyle and madness in the last five to ten years have created an environment in which his son can be led to believe "Marty asked for it."

Todd is a worse, parent, no question about that.

But you're doing same thing Blair does scapegoat Todd for everything vs owning her own madness and lifestyle has heaped damage on Jack, too. She's played catnip to Todd's enemies and exposed Jack to psychos and neglected him to chase her Todd and a parade of men.

Jack sadly respect Todd so much b/c Todd is far less a hypocrite.

Look at Jack tossing in Starr's face she's no perfect princess to call his behavior out b/c she's made many reckless decisions of her own. Jack is screaming at them don't preach at me for doing bad as if you are saints. I get it, kids do not take lectures well from hypocrites...

Which is why I advocated Blair sitting Jack down and opening up about all her anger management issues and how they have wreaked havoc on her life and she wants HIM TO BE BETTER. That was the only saving grace for T&B ever, they were horrible people who wanted their kids to be better... not just as bad.

I think James is kind of sweet, if unbelievably nelly and dim. I could see a little bit of story for him on the show, particularly if he went gay behind Starr's back, but nothing long-term.

I had wanted to see Charlie mentor him doing construction at one point, but, well...

...the only silver lining on losing Brian Kerwin for me is that it leaves Viki open for my master plan to pair her with Carla Hall's long lost brother (as played by Robert Wisdom from The Wire). But that will not happen because the show is obviously gearing up to reunite her and Clint as they prep for a possible end of show.

NR would play that storyline very believably.
