I agree to an extent, Remos. (Wow I feel like I always say that to you :D)

I'm willing to give the story a chance. But as I've said before, it just deels hollow without any of these characters having a support system around them. Like, ANY!

This is why I think Guza's mistakes are so grave. If you're not going to use Audrey/Bobbie/Monica, etc...WRITE them out. Don't just have them disappear and be mentioned from time to time. Because when you do it that way, their absence becomes glaring and odd to think about.

I'm against killing vets for the sake of killing them, but it would make a lot more sense for Audrey/Bobbie/Monica/Lesley to be deceased then absentee. It's a big hole in the story and very out of character.

You know I'm with you on that one. Bobbie would make all of this better. Monica? meh…. she's never been a favourite of mine so I'm fine without, but Bobbie would pull everything from the past and across the whole extended Spencermaine family together.

I didn't know you didn't like Monica! She certainly isn't as key as Monica in all of this, but I feel she has a right to know about Jake. As does Edward. So they should at least get a scene or two, IMO.

But you're correct about Bobbie. Not only does she have MULTIPLE connections to the people involved in this storyline, on both sides, but she has the past. And through her they could have her supporting her daughter, grandaughter, and nephew...All while bringing her own painful experiences to the table.

That's how a true soap would have told this.

I love them to, shame GH writers don't seem to. IMO they have a potential gold mine with Jason/Liz (Sam added in would make it even better) but they refuse to explore it anymore. The current S/L going on will more than likely put them in each others orbits again but I doubt it will last long. It will wear off and they'll go back to being strangers to each other in no time.

When we last saw Jake, he was contentedly playing with his truck on the stairs. Then suddenly the door is open and he is gone. What possessed Jake to run outside into the street?

I say someone opened the door and grabbed Jake, pulled him into the street, and then running him over. This was an intentional murder.

Franco did it.

Im sorry but that sounds even dumber than Jake randomly running out there himself. The whole thing was sloppy. Id have had Liz in a car with Jake when the other driver hit her or forced her off the road. An accident like that seems more plausible than what we just got. I jsut cant see a 3 year old who was fine playing on the floor opening the front door and running out into the street and I also cant see someone openning the door grabbing him and leaving him on a street to be run over either.

Actually, I think the current story is to remove them completely from each other's orbits. With Jake gone there is no connection between Liz and Jason, Liz has one of her excess kids removed so Lucky is the only father she actually has to deal with, and Jason can now have "his" child with Sam alone.
