January 31, 201114 yr Member Anyone watching this?? It stars Billy Magnussen from ATWT and Betty White.
January 31, 201114 yr Member LOL...I watched. I don't know why...Hallmark movies are so ridiculously sappy. Which of course means I cried throughout the entire thing. Betty White is frakkin' AMAYZING. As usual, I was more annoyed by Jennifer Love Hewett than anything else. I floved Billy Magnussen in it. I hope he continues to do well in LA. I didn't recognize him, but Gil Gerard played Betty White's son.
January 31, 201114 yr Member It was of course, sappy and predictable. But I still really enjoyed it. Betty White was fabulous. I had a feeling that once we knew that someone could find the body, that the train station would come into play. I feared it would be a big, showy thing, but for me that was the best moment of the movie. The way Betty White played it--just like every year with the Conductor sitting with her, her hand rubbing the wood, her feet swinging--and then it started. And LORD when she got to touch the casket...I bawled like a baby. The way Betty White played that scene was fantastic. She was subdued and subtle, but still conveyed so much emotion. When the Officer had to take her away so the casket could continue....ah.

And Billy Magnussen....mmmmmm....gawd...so hot....floved him in the movie. I hope we get to see more of him too. It was of course, sappy and predictable. But I still really enjoyed it. I felt like I was there with the Betty White character not just actually watching her perform. Nowadays soaps are just watched and they don't take you away into their world. Thats why soaps were so good back then. Now soaps offer you nothing. Btw...the movie did really good in the ratings. It won its time slot and had the biggest numbers for the night with a (15.5 million viewers and a 9.9/15 HH rating.
