This is going far off the ratings topic, LOL ... Hope it's okay.

Background: Sean had been taken in by the Corys after Alli got them to agree to it after Jake and Vicky moved away, and Donna had paid for his college at BCU after Jake died. As he went to college, Alli broke things off with him. Sean viewed Donna and Paulina as surrogate parental figures, although Donna acted coldly towards him and he was never sure whether she viewed him as a charity case.

As AW Today Twitter roleplay started, Sean had just graduated from college. He got a job as a waiter at the Harbor Club and roomed with a reformed Tito for awhile after Tito was released from jail, before Tito moved to North Dakota. Sean got involved with an undercover FBI agent, Sapna, and was kidnapped by a bitter relative of someone Sapna killed to protect Sean, then couldn't rescue his kidnapper from falling off a bridge in St Louis, making him feel guilty. Later, Sean got in trouble with Tony the Tuna for a bit and worked on Tyrone Montgomery's campaign for State Representative, Tyrone having left the judicial bench. Sean got to know his cousins MJ, Ben, Kathleen, and Cheryl when they moved back to town, as well as Great Aunt Mary and Uncle Vince. Sean got involved with trying to defend the FBI agent, Sapna, after she was falsely accused of murder of a cult leader, Phil Higley (who had been on the show briefly in the late 70s, involved in a story with Sally Frame -- a lot of this is from the other Twitter writers too). Sapna got married to someone else. Sapna was revealed to be Dennis Wheeler's long-lost daughter who he had fathered unbeknownst to him while living in Houston with a fellow intern at the TV station there. Sapna lost her memory when her old FBI partner drugged her to keep certain secrets. Sean's dad, Kevin Anderson, came back to town and saved Kathleen, Adam Cory, and Ben's life in a vigilante manner. Sean did not forgive Kevin for walking away from his mom and felt Kevin had not learned his lesson to respect the law after being sent to jail for underhandedly trying to frame Carl Hutchins as District Attorney. Kevin was able to practice law eventually again, and went into legal partnership with Scott LaSalle. Sean agreed to work for Kevin. Sean was also involved in the adventures of a new family, the Naths. TeleNext ended the Twitter roleplay after a year.

“The Talk” DELIVERS ITS LARGEST WEEKLY AUDIENCE

“The Talk” Matches Its Highest Women 18-49 Rating

The Talk, CBS’s new daytime talk show, delivered its largest weekly audience ever and matched its best women 18-49 delivery, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Jan. 7.

The Talk posted a 1.7/05 household rating with 2.34m viewers, 1.1/07 in women 25-54, 0.9/05 in women 18-49 and 0.6/04 in women 18-34. The Talk posted its largest weekly audience to date, matched its best weekly delivery in both households and women 18-49, posted its second-best weekly women 25-54 performance and scored its best women 18-34 rating since the week ending Dec. 17, 2010.

The Talk beat “One Life To Live” in women 18-34 (0.6/04 vs. 0.4/03) and tied with women 18-49.

The Talk (Weekdays 2:00-3:00 PM, ET; 1:00-2:00 PM, PT) is co-hosted by Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Holly Robinson Peete, Leah Remini and Marissa Jaret Winokur. Brad Bessey, Gilbert and John Redmann are executive producers.

OLTL collapsed this week. Not surprised, it was interrupted on Wednesday and fully pre-empted on NY.

    • The counts seem small even for B&B. Thanks for posting!
    • Sooo Nick is inviting Sharon to France for this Dumas party thing. The same place they reconnected years ago during the Shick/Phick years. I wonder if it’s going to be on location? I’m going to assume not. I’m sure Y&R doesn’t have that kind of budget anymore.
    • Agree. The catfights at the clothing store alone...lol.   That's how I feel about Teresa as well. Cheryl I feel seems to blend much better with Sara's breakdowns, but I definitely love her dialogue no matter who she is with.  They also forget replies about missing plot points and theories about why they might be missing so...   YASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS   Oh how that scene lives rent free in my head and when it pops up online I will always watch.
    • Episode #62 Thurs May 29 US, Dani arrived at the bar at closing time and used her Dupree name to request that the bartender serve her even though it was past closing time.  Then Doug walked in and Dani convinced the bartender to serve him too.  They were both drowning their sorrows, and the scene switched to Vanessa/Joey having sex on the card table. Then no followup.  Did Dani and Doug talk? Or... ? Where did Doug go? When the next episode started, it was the next day and Dani was meeting with Pamela, and Pamela arranged for some hot guy to date Dani, but Dani wasn't interested.
    • So I'm seeing cuz the catch-up has been brutal. All I can do (besides look at fashion) is smh.
    • Wow. What an episode. Deidre truly broke my heart today. Not much else to say. Just an incredible love story ending.    I’m amazed they couldn’t or didn’t try go get either Claire actress while both of her grandfathers are on death’s door. Hope sensing John had passed was a nice heartbreaking touch. The rest of the week is going to be so hard.
    • -- The fashions are at least something to talk about, because we're definitely not getting any story. I mean, this stuff is dreadful. -- I do like how they're dressing Nikki. Its hugely different from before, but I'll take it. -- At least she doesn't look like Ashley, who's dressed like a clinically-depressed Cruella DeVille. -- Nick without a jacket just looks odd. -- I see Mark Grossman again gained about 15 lbs. when he was away on vacation. The sharp cheekbones are gone and the double chin is back. Hate to be mean, but I hope he loses the weight. -- All that talk about all Claire did to plan that "party." Excuse me? There's nothing go on, and outside of some tacky Happy Birthday signage and tablecloths from Kohls, I don't know what they're talking about.
