Thanks for the kind words as always!   I always say it's a shame I can't have a public channel anymore, because of the B.S of CBS/SONY, but I'm glad that means I'll hopefully always have my episodes saved so I can share them anytime I can......It still makes me sad, that any potential holder of classic episodes has to hold back from uploading, as it doesn't seem like much is posted anymore....Tombinorway/SoapOperaSpectaular/SantaBarbaraNBC is always the one that comes to mind cause they had so many good soap clips, not to mention the Y&R episodes he had in his collection were based off of the same affiliate that most of my episodes are from (we get the episodes from the same person)....though it was clear, he had even more then what I had based off of other clips he posted, which I sadly never saved.....not saying those episodes will never surface, but the fact he had that many, and has sadly been banned from YT 3 times, makes me very upset...

I actually loved that the storylines were more isolated back then. Now it seems like everyone has screwed eachother and everyone knows everyone. 

Ryan was such a great character and not to mention, super hot. I wish the show didn't write him off. There could have been so much potential for people he could be paired with

i agree i love the the isolation too, even if I wish sometimes they had certain characters share scenes, but the isolation was A show staple and hopefully they will bring it back....

 

im not the biggest fan of Ryan, but I always thought that him and Lauren would have looked good for some reason...maybe because they rarely interacted and i feel like Ryan interacted with every other core female on the show during his time...

Thanks for organizing those videos like that! Haha I am so going to watch the Jill's stolen car one again. That was a hilarious twist to the whole affair plus you had Mamie ominously gloating in Jill's face in the aftermath. 

I did not know that Mamie and John had a thing O_o I wonder what the viewer reaction was to that back then? Did people like them? Also how did it end? Because we know they clearly didn't end up together.

 

Its so sad to see how cold Nikki and Victoria were to Sharon even back then during this rape storyline. Poor thing! They sure knew how to write a good heroine though. Everyone loves to root for the underdog.

I caught that at the end of one of the 1995 episodes too! I always scream and clap anytime Sharon gets her chance (which isn't very often) to tell one of those bitches off. 

She definitely did on that one!, haha....I hope we get that Sharon back.....

I forgot that was also the same episode, in a somewhat comedic moment where Mamie visits Katherine and Esther to show her the money JIll gave her....while John is suspicious of Jill...

I think the saddest thing to watch when watching these old vids is probably what a dynamic element the Katherine/Jill rivalry made for the show. What complicated matters even more the two old rivals, even though they were almost always at each other throat's and spewing wonderfully bitchy remarks to each other they actually cared about each other deep down.
