Members JAS0N47
Heard back from Ryan. He said it was so long ago he can't remember exactly whether it was he or Ron who initially suggested mentioning Jason47, but ended the message saying "I'm glad we got to give you a little shout out on-air. You're amazing."

Members cody_1990
You know I totally get the message. Days content is copyright protected, the show is produced to make money, it’s fair for them to be angry BUT, neither Corday or Sony(who own the rights to distribute the show) make any effort at all for fans to watch classic content. I know about music copyrights and actors residuals, but you have 15,000 episodes to pull from. Early episodes are not as restrictive to share as the 80s and 90s content. Share things on social media, perhaps Peacock can post classic content or select episodes. These things help keep fans engaged, especially now while they burn through the utter garbage that they allowed to be produced under the banner of Days of our Lives. Honestly, fan engagement is the main reason these clips are shared. No one is making money off posting clips on social media. Fans just want to chat with others and share moments they enjoyed from times when the show was in a better place. It’s just so frustrating and annoying, especially while we wait for hopefully brighter days ahead. They need to put more effort in what they’re currently selling and leave fans alone. Members AbcNbc247
It has to be Sony. They practically target streamers on YouTube all the time and I can see them doing the same thing with Days. They're the worst. Members Contessa Donatella
I'm lost. What happened? Did you get a cease and desist? Or worse did you lose a file? Going back to April this has been an aggressive campaign against most people posting DAYS clips. A theory has emerged that Sony is doing this *now* because of the 60th anniversary. You are not alone. It's driving many people crazy! And, they don't even seem to respect the existence of FAIR USE. Even if a clip is under 3 minutes, they will still go after it. 3 MINUTES?!!!
Members janea4old
I noticed that a lot of people (on social media and messageboards) seem to be interpreting this dayspeacock "ladywhistleblower" announcement as a directive to stop posting clips of the show. But I didn't read it that way. They specifically reference the Days tiktok account, and from how they worded it, I took it literally -- I interpreted it to mean that somebody copied the dayspeacock tiktok account with a lot of its content, and created their own similar account to share stuff. The show is pissed -- and the show is using Lady Whistleblower to complain (because the stupid "powers that be" think we viewers all love the LadyWhistleblower storyline and will pay attention to that). I mean I could be wrong, but that's how I'm reading it. Basically like an actor saying "xyz facebook isn't my account but someone made a copy of my page with all its content, so don't be fooled." The LadyWhistleblower announcement even says: "beware of imposters" ... just like an annoyed actor would say if there was a imposter actor page. Except that an actor would speak plainly and not use a stupid storyline device to convey the message. Members Contessa Donatella
Speaking of impersonators, they seem to be growing. Now not only Peter Reckell & his wife, but Steve Burton, & several others. Y&R actors had a rash of fake accounts. They are warning fans if someone asks you for money, it's not us, it's a sham, a scammer, a schemer, we wiil not ask you for money, you can count on that.
Members JAS0N47
I had a question asked, so seeing if anyone might know: Prior to the Day of Days event in November 2008, does anyone know if there were any big cast events like that at some point from 2000-2007, and what the name of it was?
Members janea4old
Michael Mattes has attended Days events and takes photos. Decades ago, he had a website with the photos, and here it is: https://web.archive.org/web/20011211225331/http://daysofourlives.simplenet.com/album/ He still takes Days event photos. He is now one of the hosts of Dishin Days, so you could contact him there -- he'd probably have a list of past events.
