AMC: Two actors let go

I'd give the part to Forbes March. Why not? He's not the greatest actor but he's improved immeasurably since his first AMC stint and he has a fanbase. I thought Adam Mayfield was fine but unfortunately the writers are not at all invested in Scott Chandler - who, like Joey Buchanan on OLTL, is often mistaken for a weak, wimpy disposable male given his socially conscious backstory with Cindy, Stuart, and the AIDS epidemic. I think his backstory makes Scott that much more unique, but most soap PTB and writers are uncomfortable with male characters who go outside a few very specific hard-driving, masculine, high-powered or bad-boy modes. Speaking cynically, maybe it's best if March takes the part back and gives Scott some sort of "edge" that will make AMC more comfortable with the character. Me personally, I used to envision Scott coming back to PV and wooing one of the spitfires, like Kendall or Greenlee, despite being a nice (if perhaps darker on the inside) guy with the soul of a poet.
