Members All My Shadows
*sad* The thought of the cast and crew surrounding the set as they taped that final scene...I can only imagine the emotion DH and KH packed into those final moments. Members Mitch
So much nicer then the way GL taped it, the last scene we saw was Josh and Reva (too sad that Jeva was the "core," historic couple on GL but that is another story, but the last scene filmed was of Sloane, the Billy actor and Dicipolous..what a let down that must have been for the cast and crew. ATWT does seem to have a tighter cast then GL...judging from the Paley Center stuff. I am just kind of glad ATWT went down as "ATWT" and not that abortion that GL was with the crappy taping, no sets and no core left. Totally fitting that Kim and Bob were the last scene but, really, they should have had it be in the Kim kitchen set, I know that it is now a WOAK set, but it was originally said to be a recreation of Kim's kitchen and they could just say it was the "real," kitchen. It started in a Hughes kitchen and it ends in a Hughes kitchen.
Members DRW50
Even now I still think we're in Kim's kitchen. It takes a minute to remember we're on WOAK. I do think it's nice that they have Bob and Kim for the last scene, even if that globe doesn't have to be so cheesy. I didn't mind GL's last scene, but I agree this is more suitable. I guess my favorite for the P&G soap goodbyes would probably have to be Search for Tomorrow, and I also really liked Another World's.
