So, of course, when you're creating a character such as Thorsten's, one's mind immediately goes to naming him after characters on an abysmal, humorless Saturday morning sitcom. (Seriously, Chip?)

Exactly. As I was saying earlier, that name seems more appropriate for a comical himbo or something. Even though _Michael_ _"Sonny"_ Corinthos is probably the most glaringly ripped off soap character name, at least it makes sense.
