Members Kimmiemae
I hope OLTL goes up or stays the same.. I don't think the show is bad. I'm actually enjoying all the stories except the teens. I hope Days goes up too.
Members skiman12082004
I am hoping that all 6 remaining soaps go up in the ratings. I am going to enjoy each of them as much as I can for as long as they are around. Here's to AMC, GH, OLTL, Y&R, B&B and DAYS. :-)
Members LoyaltoAMC
Tried to get back into "my" show, AMC, but I'm just finding it unwatchable. It's essentially just the same old, same old. When I watch, all I see are a lot of pretty generic faces I don't care about doing things I don't care about, or Angie in a storyline that is so overwrought, which goes against the show's grain. I had hopes with D&D, but they're just following the template set for the show by Frons and Carruthers, who are either clueless as to what the show is about or just don't give a damn. I know a lot of people are enjoying the show again, and I hope for its sake that the ratings at least stabilize, but I just can't find any storyline worth watching. Members Soapsuds
I'm sure they'll call you to direct the show soon. Don't worry they'll call.
Members Aragorn
I think GH either went up or stayed the same. The show is good again.
Members Soapsuds
I have a feeling all soaps well drop except for Days and ATWT. OLTL and GH will fall hard with the others dropping too.
Members OLTL_fan
ABC Press release. CBS had a good week. It looks like OLTL and DAYS went down. http://tvbythenumbers.com/2010/07/22/abc-is-daytime%e2%80%99s-no-1-network-with-women-18-49-extending-streak-to-13-straight-weeks/57973
Administrator Toups Posted July 22, 2010 Author Administrator Share Posted July 22, 2010 Looks like DAYS hit a new low in W18-49 Viewers. Ouch. This summer is going to be a disaster for DAYS....and there's still more 6 weeks to go.
Members me4ryky
From that, it looks like GH lost over 90,000 in the coveted 18-49 demo. Wonder how many they lost in total viewers (not that they care about that)

Administrator Toups Posted July 22, 2010 Author Administrator Share Posted July 22, 2010 Yup. Corday's gonna be making more changes. He's not happy with the 18-49 numbers. I wonder who's next.

Members jdawg1077
Those are pretty brutal numbers for Days. They are clearing putting all of their eggs in the "September through March" basket once again, just like they did last year. With the exception of some good EJ/Nicole scenes last week, there really is little happening on the show right now. It's all just filler material for pay-offs that are months down the road. As long as Days gets only yearly renewals, I think we can expect to live with this pattern. Fire on all cylinders from September through March (when the renewal decision is made), and then dial everything back and frontburner "B" stories from April through August. It'll be interesting to see if it works again this year.
