So over on the Gaydaytime boards, there are rumors that Reid (and probably 5 other people) are hurt in a train crash, headed for Chicago. I'm assuming Reid gets killed trying to be a hero...can anyone shed light on this?

I read that he gets shot by the father of that girl whose life he failed to save. You know, like what happened to McDreamy on GA (only McDreamy didn't die).

What could I have done in a past life to deserve belonging to a minority group so pathetic, it can't get its story told in an accurate, interesting manner on a 20th century American soap opera that's survived on fumes fifteen years after it should logically have died? What could I possibly have done?

However, Reid dies it will be crushing. ESS will rock those scenes though. Why haven't we heard that another soap has snatched him up? I'm sure that DK would want him on AMC, maybe ESS doesn't want to move his family to the west coast.

Like I said before, at least two gay characters make it out alive. There ain't a person of color to be seen on ATWT.

ESS is doing theatre with his wife in Vermont. I hope we get to see him on TV very soon!

Yeah, looks like Reid will be killed off a week or two before the final episode. Noah comforts Luke and it is implied that they will be together in the future

If that happens it will piss off both Luke/Noah and Luke/Reid fans. What a cheap, non-organic, unsatisfing way of ending things.
