Ann Flood was such a soap staple, and then she played Bitsy on AMC (and was fun to watch) and then suddenly she was gone! Did she retire or did the offers just stop coming?

I liked her as Nancy Karr on EON. She was so noble, so mainstream, and then she did a complete 180 as nasty Bitsy on AMC carrying on with her daughter's boyfriend. Soaps need some old pros to come back.

And something called The Nostril Picker in 1993. That doesn't fit with my perception of Ann Flood. No doubt it was her "Trog"

Ann Flood and Jo Ann Pflug are two soap names/faces I'm always mixing up. I just watched some of the first episode of "Rituals" on YouTube so I could set Jo Ann's face in my head. She had a very dramatic Alexis Carrington/Sydney Chase entrance on that show.

Yes, Pflug was more of a vixen. Flood, to me anyway, was more of a quintessential old money WASP.
