Hey y'all, in case you weren't watching tonight's Tony Awards? You just missed scrawny bird Kristin Chenowith almost fall out of her dress. So consider yourselves lucky. ;-)

On the topic at hand, you'll be happy to know that I had already secured the website domain through 2018. We have a long ways to go before that time, so there is no need to worry about us and whether or not we'll still be around. Otherwise, I'm sure we'll never run out of things to discuss on the message boards, even when many of our soaps are over and done with (which I don't believe they will be - they will just come in different forms).

I'm also pleased to announce that we'll be launching our first sister website very soon and we hope you all enjoy it as much as we enjoyed making it.

Forgive me as I puncture the delusions of grandeur, please: This place is called Soap Opera Network. It is just another soap opera discussion forum on the Internet. There is not a branding or business issue, at least, there certainly isn't for those of us who are just members. If it runs its course someday, so what? If you're uncomfortable with being on a soap opera board where people talk about *gasp* soap operas, find somewhere else to go.

I hope the new website has room for the dancing baby! This kid is amazing - I still have a hard time believing it's real:
