So now I know I won't be making many friends saying this but I tried watching DAYS just to see the Alice stuff (I used to watch DAYS way back when), and I didn't enjoy it. The sets were bad, the dialogue was bland, and Kate(?) had an extraordinary amount of make-up on her face. It really was astonishing; like her face was painted on. I couldn't even focus on what was being said because I was so distracted by her face. Oh, predictions:

Some soaps weren't on or were not on in all areas in the last ratings report so I think ATWT should go back up to a 1.7

Monday was Memorial Day. ABC showed re-runs of their soaps while CBS showed original programming. It should be interesting if CBS counts Monday.

I'm nearly positive that, due to the fact that it was a holiday, last Monday's ratings will NOT be counted for any soap.

CBS counted theirs last year. They might not this year.

I dont think NBC counted DAYS last year on Memorial Day. CBS soaps actually did well last year on Monday with ABC in repeats. DAYS also wasnt on Friday due to Tennis so that should definitely help them since Friday is usually their worst day.

Don't they have to declare well in advance whether or not they will count a holiday? They used to have to.
