1. Pope Benedict XVI (I think the current pope is always the most known, as Catholicism is practiced by over 1 billion people on Earth.)

4. Osama Bin Laden

5. Oprah Winfrey

If I were to include dead people then I would probably put Michael Jackson in Osama Bin Laden's spot, and move Osama down to 5.

I'm including dead people, I think they trump a couple of those who are alive.
