I didn't realize there were so many Mike Roy fans here.... I found the entire Mike/Erica/Jack triangle so cheesy and tacky and the beginning of Susan/Erica's downfall to where we are today.

I didn't particularly like that storyline, yes it was nice to see mike. I have been watching erica/mike episodes from the mid early 80's and I really love her with both of the mikes.I think out of all erica's men mike is the only man that didn't let her get away with crap, he was the only one that sort of tamed the shrew.imo

LOL, chill! I was being sarcastic in saying the jig is up that I was Pratt.

McTavish even after all these years is still someone you evidently don't joke about ;)

Don't even joke about McCrap I loathe that woman.

Oh I hated the triangle alright. All 3 of them acted like fools (e.g. Erica chasing Mike down on a forklift, Jackson pretending to be paralyzed or something after the Holidays explosion to get Erica's sympathy), but I still think Erica/Mike were good together.

I think that erica was suppose to end up with mike but the actor wanted more money the show said no and so he left. Thats why the storyline was a letdown to me.

I don't get the Jack hate, but if Susan and Agnes want it and like it than it's good with me too  I think there is a lot more to J/E if the writers use some creativity and stop telling the same triangle/children in their way, story. Maybe this new romantic comedy thing will do that.

I'm on the fence regarding the romantic comedy. I hope it's nothing like the reality show featuring Jack and Erica. That was blah.

D&D's description of the newbie for Erica in the current SOW -- highly educated but rugged-- sounds like Chris Stamp all over again. They think this idea is so clever but it was boring and predictable the last time, almost 10 years ago.

Hmm, sounds interesting to me. Chris Stamp? No. Chris was all over the place.

Oh really? I never knew there were plans to keep him long term.

Jack scalia is a good looking man until he opens his mouth and then it goes downhill from there.

NS only wanted to be on for 6 months. That's what he agreed because I remember the article and the interview he did right before his return. To me. Mike was Erica's first real true love but Jack is THE ONE. However, if WW left the show, Mike would be the man I'd want with her. The rest of them weren't good enough for her, IMO.

Agreed. Especially when he'd say, "Yo, Ericker" He was NOT for Erica at all but I could have seen him with Opal.

I actually thought that was kind of cute and different.

I read the article and it doesn't sound like that at all. This sounds really good. I'm up for it.

What else did the article say?

They are writing them like Tracy/Hepburn (or for younger viewers, Cybil/Bruce in Moonlighting  ). There's going to be a lot of humor and banter along with the romance. It starts when Jack walks in on Brooke/Erica having one of their "talks" and goes from there. I'm willing to give it a try because I think SL/WW have great chemistry and can do humor very well. This is the kind of writing they should have had the last few years.
