Bravo's The Real Housewives of....

' Bravo fans may never get to see newest installation of “The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip.” Multiple sources tell Page Six exclusively that the network is considering tabling the Peacock spinoff following Caroline Manzo’s sexual assault allegations against Brandi Glanville. “‘Ultimate Girls Trip’ Morocco is probably never going to air, and now they are thinking about tabling ‘[RHONY] Legacy’ also,” one insider shares. “NBC is really pissed off because they feel like Bravo let [production company] Shed ruin multiple shows, ‘RHONY’ obviously [being one].” However, a source close to Peacock tells Page Six that “RHONY Legacy” will air as planned, while no official decisions have been made regarding “Ultimate Girls Trip.” '

Dang, things are really starting to crumble in the Housewives universe. Granted, it was bound to happen sooner or later, but perhaps Bethenny just OJ'ed the modern day soap opera and accelerated its downfall.

RHOSLC:

While it's horrible that Monica had a horrible unbringing, my belief is that anything that happens before you're 18 is your parents fault.. and anything after 18 is your fault.  Monica should be in therapy and cut ties with her mother instead of having her mother around her kids.

Also, I know people that had mothers/fathers like Monica's.. and they didn't cheat on their spouse with an inlaw, didn't get defensive anytime someone gives feedback, nor be so judgemental.

RHOBH:

Sutton is confused why she can't have a 2nd date... but I have a feeling she talks to her dates the same way she talked to her assistant... and if so, then I don't blame the men for ghosting her.

RUGT:

I mean why is anyone surprised that this franchise has gotten toxic?  You invite the likes of Brandi, Ramona, Kenya, and Gizelle onto these trips... of course, each season will be toxic.

Btw, I was rewatching season 1 of RHOBH and the one thing I noticed that was done back then was that there were episodes where the women weren't together.  They hung out with their own friends, their significant other, their kids, etc... unlike now where the women are together way too much.

AMEN.

Well tbf, they all on all shows STILL do. We just don't see all of it on screen. Like until recently, you could always count on Kyle to be hanging with Faye somewhere and posting a picture, Kandi and her mulitiple friends all over the world, etc. And lest's not forget Garcelle's scene with HER friend group two seasons back.

If anything ....unlike Jennifer Tilly who I love seeing and hate when Production cut out her scenes...most RL friends appear to not want to film. Emphasis on appear.

And then there's the groups where they ARE geniune friends on AND off screen, but that's another talk I believe.

RHOM. What a treat to have this franchise back. The Miami locations. The colours. The real estate porn (the drone shots over Nicole and Anthony's new house!). The fashions. The beauty. The interactions between the women. The homegrown and individual dramas. From Alexia trying to find her way back into the audience's good books (and kind of abandoning Marysol), to Nicole's assurances about Guerdy's health to Guerdy, to Lisa and Larsa on the boat... the relationships between these women feel tight. The last 3 minutes of the episode reinforced that and set up the next few episodes. When will Guerdy start telling the other women about what she is going through?

On a very superficial note, I love Julia's haircut (and possibly a light facelift), Nicole's style, and Kiki's everything.

It's early days since the VF article came out earlier this week, so I could be very wrong, but I think the 'Bravo takedown' proved to be a damp squid. That surprised me because VF is a big-name publication which used to be known for its in-depth, gossipy reportages. They didn't get the breadth of HWs that they thought they would for this article. The Ramona reveal was already out there in the public domain -- Eboni has been talking about it for two years. Bethenny is already turning on the VF journalist which tells me that the article didn't land like she hoped and she's really about saving her 'brand'. As Eboni rightly pointed out in the article.

All this to say that I don't think Bravo/RHs is imploding on itself. Yet. It is in the midst of BravoCon fuelled by this gossip which is grist for the mill. I'm bummed that RHUGT Morocco got shelved (is that official BTW??) because I really wanted to watch it and make up my own mind. A combination of Brandi pushing it too far as usual and Caroline's scary lawyers did that. Ramona getting fired is a long-delayed reaction by Bravo, but RHUGT RHONY Legacy will still be screened.

I'm not sure RHs has been OJed and I'm not sure Bethenny has dealt it the death blow she claims she has. Rather the death blow will come from a precipitous decline in quality across the board, or a foolish, desperate change of format, and then the audience will rapidly abandon the shows. JMO.

DUBAI

SO it REALLY IS looking like Lesa and Chanel fell out.

So was Season 2 a takedown season of Lesa then because she fell there by private jet (thanks hubby) and is not interacting with anyone, but promoting the second season.

And new HW Taleen...

The first season wasnt toxic. It was a breath of fresh air and overall light hearted. And that was with Ramona and Kenya. Its gotten dark now but most of the conflict on season 1 was superficial and not that deep

Thats Chris! aka cdiggi1 on YT. I feel so happy for him that he got to ask a question and it being shared/posted

Based off of Season 1 reunion, I expected Ayan and Sara to get into it. I'm sorry to say it now, but Sara is giving fake or doing the HW no-no...not being transparent. Most of this fight has already been posted (spoiler alert-it ends the episode where Sara did get some good shade in) and it just feels like Sara is lording her status over others.

That said...as long as it's a petty feud...cuz this is all over BEYONCE (and I love how RHOM that scene looks)...to offbalance the REAL feud between Lesa and everyone...so secret that EVERYONE is talking about it...I'm down.

Have you seen the breathtaking confessionals yet?

    • When the announcement was first made, I did wonder if other plans were in the works. I guess we can always keep hoping, especially as the show has a small core cast.
    • @chrismlAbout Lisa, agree to disagree. Actually at the time she was the only thing my partner & I disagreed about. Naturally she was Team Vicky while I was steadfast as Team Lisa.  About John & twin paternity, I think that like the 3 pillows was a transitory idea someone had that no one else agreed with. More of the attempt to accommodate Philece. About MJ, co-sign, 100% agree, if there were more degrees I would claim them. About Wally & Felicia, always a fan. Mitch? Eh, take or leave. Although I do agree that WGE is a really striking man. Who have I left out? I don't know so that's all I got.

    • Dallas peaked early, IMO. Maybe not a fair statement as I’m still making my way through the first half of its run, but I think it’s hard to argue to point that S3 into S4 was its high point. Back to Knots. Wrapping up “And Never Brought to Mind.” Greg’s introduction kinda took me by surprise. I low-key dreaded his arrival bc I know he very quickly gets to the center of the show, but even though they wasted no time connecting him with Mac, Abby, Gary, and Karen, it still feels like a gradual intro. The juxtaposition of the ending of the Chip story with the heating up Abby’s plotting is quite symbolic of the changes the show was going through. I absolutely cannot imagine Kenny and Ginger having any part in any of this. Yall, the Gary/Val piano theme that they pull out from time to time is my FAVORITE. I find myself humming it constantly.
    • Bloodshed is inevitable now. It’s another reason I’m glad Black people aren’t getting involved in these protests. As awful as this is, I keep reminding myself that 54 percent of Latino men voted for Trump. These people were put in harm’s way by members of their own communities and sometimes even members of their own families. Too many people decided to touch the stove.
    • Maybe I'm still in denial, but nothing about Neighbours' ongoing social media output gives the vibe of a show that's ending. In today's 'Roundup' video, Alan Fletcher referenced that production finishes in five weeks, but in all the show's posts the cast are as jovial and lighthearted as ever. Remarkably so for people who are about to lose their jobs.    Perhaps they're just putting a brave face on things, and I know they approached the previous axing with a positive attitude. Maybe putting an upbeat face on things is a collective way of showing potential backers that there's still life in the show? Or is it possible that they already know the show has been saved, and we'll get an announcement next month when filming wraps and the show 'rests'?   Does any of that make sense?!
    • A very good week for male eye candy on GH. New Michael is beautiful, Curtis's arms looked great in that polo shirt, Cody looks even more handsome with his new haircut AND we got Marco in swim shorts rocking his lovely bod and chest fur.

    • Yeah when Jamey Giddens did breakdowns for DAYS, he would sometimes state in tweets that specific things were his idea that he had pitched to Ron.
    • I don't, since they've clearly incorporated them into Tomas' storyline, and I happen to like his tattoos, but his jackets not fitting doesn't mean they're trying to cover his tattoos. The clothing overall isn't the issue; it's the fit. And I expect(ed) more from Jeresa Featherstone and her team. Very disappointed. He's the only male, overall, whose costume irritates me.
    • "And OMG, watching the scenes of Roger's return in comparison...the quality in the writing really nosedived. The stupid mask." Very much agreed.  Having Roger hide behind a mask for weeks/months, with it culminating with him swinging in on a vine at Blake/Phillip's wedding....geez.  So juvenile. IMO, Guiding Light never did a good job reintroducing major characters, either from the dead or elsewhere.  Masked balls = awful.  Amish = awful. When Reva was brought back from the dead, she should've just showed up in Springfield as Reva, and informed everyone that she had been gone for years because she felt like it.  She had a four-year fling with some dude who ended up dumping her due to disloyalty. Josh would be pissed and declare that their love is not *always* but *sometimes* and he'd act accordingly.  Her kids would hate her.
