GH: MICHAEL RECAST

Do you know him personally?

No, I was simply referring to his acting. To me, everytime he acts in what is supposed to be an "emotional" scene, i just see "Look at me! Im acting! Im gonna get an Emmy! This is fun! Im really good at this!" and the overwhelming feeling of ego I sense from him, and the way he acts (his smirks, body language, etc.) when he's around other actors, I can almost hear him saying "I am totally out-acting these people!"...And that is what completely turned me off from the character.

Maybe it is just me, but I just always felt like DG was ACTING. I never felt like he really connected with what was put in front of him. It always felt like he tried his hardest to scream his way through scenes, with that furrowed brow/sad puppy look of his, and instead of coming across as the sad, troubled kid they wanted us to see Michael as, for me it just came a cross as an actor overacting by a long run, and for me, this completely ruined any chemistry he might have had with any other cast member.
