Members dragonflies
Anyone notice they're now using scenes from the show as bumpers? I like it. It's something different. Not sure if GH and OLTL are doing the same or not
Members Cheap21
they started last Friday and I think they stink. They did this on CBS a few years ago. I dont see the point in showing scenes that are going to air in a few minutes later. Hated it then and hate it here now. On CBS, they'd spoil cliffhangers interestnig scenes and I hope here they try not to do that

Members dragonflies
Today's was just a Rylee/Emma bumper. Nothing major I don't think it can hurt to give it a try, the old ones were outdated and AMC was the ONLY ABC soap that didn't get new bumpers like OLTL and GH did a few years ago
Members Cheap21
It was two. The second was Erica insulting Greenlee's picture Id rather they had just updated the character shot bumpers. They are nothing special...just preview of scenes that will air in the 2nd half of the show
Members All My Shadows
I'd love it if they did Melrose Place/Daria-style bumpers, showing a scene that has already aired in the episode, but in epic slow motion and black and white. Members Scotty
I know....I just wanted to see what they look like.
Members SFK
You know, AMC used to do those actually. At one point during the white linen credits era, they'd do black and white mid-show bumpers of a prior scene (don't remember if it was slo-mo though). Members All My Shadows
Oooooooh, now I remember seeing those in some episodes I watched from that time. Those should be brought back because it's so dramatic and almost kinda campy.
Members Scotty
That was back in the day when all three ABC soaps had their own identities.
Members dragonflies
Ooh that would be neat. NCIS does something like that too, but it's usually an upcoming scene and short enough it doesn't give anything away
Members SFK
"That was back in the day when all three ABC soaps had their own identities. " I know right! Yeah, I liked those bumpers. IIRC, they were b&w in letterbox with the AMC scrapbook logo in the lower right hand corner, simple piano playing the first few notes of the white linen theme. And the more I think of it, I'm pretty sure they were in slo-mo. They were often of someone tearfully yelling at another character.
