Can't you just see Stacy Haiduk as Betsy Williams? Paul and Betsy were the best of friends as children. Paul used to call her Betsy Boop, after his favorite cartoon. Mary muttered "BETTY, NOT BETSY" over her sauerkraut and spare ribs, but Paul never noticed.
