I’m watching Bridget’s first few months in town, and though she spoke about it vaguely I didn’t realize the level of trouble with Elvis and general manipulation of everyone. She was always young mom/runs Company and the boarding house person to me. Then Julie right now is her nice innocent friend being taught how to manipulate Mallet by Bridget-what a difference a few years makes.

The show did a good job maturing Bridget without seeming forced. I remember the moment where Maureen berated her for bringing danger into their home, as they stood in the kitchen (what a contrast to a decade later when a mob shootout in the kitchen was no big deal). A great moment from Ellen Parker.

Of course, JFP would likely tell you she put that in and no one gave a damn about Maureen until her.

Asks quietly...someone is making sure some of these recently uploaded episodes are going to the vault, right?

I think most of them have already been around or are up in other forms, although I hope that any new episodes do go up.

LOL! If I knew how to do it, I would. I still fear the day that the Vault goes away and I have no opportunity to see full episodes so easily.

The ones from '79 probably were. But I'm not sure about 2 from 83. I'm nearly positive I've never saw either, at least in t their entirety. One has Tony talking Bea into getting rid of Tom's things. The other has Vanessa 's PI blackmailing her, leaving her flat broke.

Yep. Me too.

That's good if some were new. I thought they may have been the same that were on the Spauldingfield channel.

I’m up to November 30, 1998.

The wedding gets underway in NYC, with Reva/Josh and Teri (Annie) showing up. Alan isn’t sure why Teri is there (nor am I), but she makes up an excuse about a misinterpreted invite and he says she’s welcome to stay. Josh is still a little cold with Reva (being under the drug). Oh lord, they have Rudy Giuliani (former NYC mayor) as the officiant, wow. Anyway, Phillip and Harley are married (11/23)! After the wedding, Vicky is excited to see Alex, but Alex is a bit icy towards her and only says hello. Annie daydreams about marrying Josh there, in Harley’s wedding dress. She later pulls him aside and does the ‘Sit, Josh’ thing again, but Reva interrupts and questions why she’s even at the wedding. She says she’s a guest of Alan’s, so Reva tells her to go be with Alan instead. Annie later catches the bouquet and Alan invites her to Thanksgiving dinner. Alex and Alan decide to put their differences aside about the Amanda/Brandon Spaulding secret that Alex kept from him previously which drove her out of town. The next morning, Phillip and Harley bask in their newlywed bliss.

Blake almost catches Holly recording herself about being the Stalker, but Holly is quick enough to hide the camera. Blake still sees all the pictures she has of the victims and asks her what’s going on. Holly covers by saying she’s drowning herself in writing up the big story in the Journal about the Stalker. Blake says she’s surprised the Stalker hasn’t come after her (Blake) yet since she has kids, which freaks Holly out. After Blake leaves, Holly declares alone that she must stop the stalking and also quit drinking.

India (former stepdaughter of Alex) tells Ross she’s back to reconnect with the Spaulding family and old friends. He tells her he is separating from Blake. They are friendly, Ross leaves and India gets a phone call about her check bouncing, leaving me to think she might have money problems.

Frank confides in Buzz about kissing Teri, and Buzz pressures him to stay with Eleni and to not make those mistakes again.

Dinah arranged for Peter to spend Thanksgiving with Hart. Hart goes to the airport to pick him up and runs into Cassie and Tammy, who are leaving town for the holidays. He realizes Sean is going with them and gets a little jealous. He asks her if this is really what she wants and she reiterates he’s married to Dinah and she’s having Sean’s baby so they can’t be together (even though you can tell she’s lying). He kisses her and says he’ll always love her and then Peter runs into his arms as she watches from a distance.

Teri stops by Vanessa’s house to tell her that Beth has been ruled out as the Stalker. Dinah is there and privately tells Teri she seems very familiar to her, like someone she used to know. She wants to look into her past now and keeps asking Teri questions about where she comes from. Teri, fed up, says Dinah was always too soft which catches Dinah off guard. Teri says nevermind and leaves, but Dinah privately says she thinks that might be Annie Dutton! Later on Thanksgiving, Dinah shows up at Teri’s place and grills her about things she’s said and who she knows, which annoys Teri. She tricks Teri by calling her Annie as she’s about to leave, and Teri answers ‘Yes’ without catching it. Dinah then says to her ‘Oh my God, you are Annie’. Annie tries to deny it, but Dinah says she’s not buying it. Dinah then says she’ll run a DNA test on her hair to prove it, but Teri finally admits that she is Annie. She pulls a gun on Dinah and threatens her to never tell anyone. Dinah freaks out and pleads her not to shoot her, but Annie said her secret needs to die with her. Annie tells Dinah that she never really cared about her, since she didn’t even show up to her funeral. Annie tells her everything she did - stealing the body from a morgue, switching dental records, etc. Dinah tries to flatter her by telling her how smart she is, but it doesn’t work on Annie. She begs Annie not to kill her, and says they’re so much alike by telling her the things she’s done to win back Hart and how Cassie is like her Reva and they need to work together to bring them down. Annie starts to believe her and lowers the gun, just as Dinah grabs for it and takes it and points it towards Annie! Annie laughs and says she’s not going to shoot, but Frank interrupts by knocking on the door and coming in. He asks why they’re hanging out together and Dinah says they realized they had a lot in common. Frank then leaves, Annie thanks Dinah for not giving her away, and brings out champagne for the new ‘sorority sisters’ to toast. A confused Dinah mentions Annie’s drinking problem, but Annie says she’s a new woman and Teri doesn’t have a problem with drinking haha.

At Millennium, Michelle finally breaks and tells Danny that Mick was mean to everyone and no one liked him, which is why they didn’t go to his funeral. Jesse steps in and they get into it a bit, and Danny says he’ll be watching them. Jenna is also there getting things ready for a Thanksgiving party (such an odd location, but I get it, they need to use the big, new set). She realizes that Lizzie and Marina have gone missing under her watch and she begins to freak out. Michelle/Jesse/Drew/Bill start to think Danny kidnapped them! Rick/Abby/Buzz/Holly arrive and get concerned, but Holly comments to Jenna that she should have been watching the kids more closely, which upsets them, and Holly then oddly says it wasn’t the Stalker who took them.

The Spauldings get ready for a fancy Thanksgiving dinner at the mansion, and Vicky tells Alex that she would really like to be friends. Alex tells Vicky that her mother was a wonderful person and never would have asked for handouts from the family (implying Vicky is). Beth arrives and Alex gives her a hug, saying it’s wonderful to see her again and she’ll always be family. Alex asks Alan why Teri would be invited, but then we learn she isn’t able to come after all. Vanessa/Matt/Vivian arrive and Vanessa/Alex hug and then Vanessa gives Beth an icy hello. They later decide to put their differences aside for the day, with Vanessa telling Beth she was wrong for assuming Beth was the stalker. India and Ross arrive, and Alex doesn’t seem pleased at all to see India (I guess I need to research their history!). Jenna frantically calls Alan to tell him Lizzie and Marina have gone missing. Everyone leaves and heads to Millennium. Back at Millennium, everyone assumes it was Danny who took the girls and the cops question him. Meanwhile we see Lizzie and Marina in the attic area watching everyone look for them, talking about how they shouldn’t have taken makeup out of Drew’s purse. While everyone is looking for them, Vivian suggests to David that he find Vicky and get closer to her, which he thinks is wild that she would try and push a Spaulding onto him during this crisis, which I totally agree with. Vivian has a one-track mind and it drives me crazy sometimes. Anyway, Danny finds the girls in the roof rafters, which spooks them and Lizzie almost falls to the dance floor. Everyone sees her and screams, but Danny saves her by pulling her up. Drew starts to blame Danny for taking the kids, but Lizzie finally tells the truth and says Danny had nothing to do with it, they were just scared to get in trouble for taking the make up (silly). Everyone apologizes to Danny, Frank shakes his hand, and all is well except Drew still thinks they need to keep an eye on Danny because he’s trouble for them.

Meta then arrives with Jason and Kevin as everyone gets Thanksgiving dinner ready at Millennium (wow they’re actually doing it here in a nightclub - whatever. Even Alan mentions he never thought he’d be hosting a Thanksgiving dinner in a nightclub LOL). Ross is hugging the boys as Rick and Abby watch from a distance. Frank lets Holly know they’ve released Ken from jail and he’s heading there now for dinner. India mentions she’ll be staying in town, which upsets Alex.

After dinner, Ross and India go back to the penthouse suite that he’s moving into (which is what India was renting) and she starts to flirt with him. She tells him he has a lot to offer, he’s in his prime and needs to date again instead of sulk. He asks why she’s flirting with him so much and she says she enjoys it. He then tells her about what Blake did, who Ben is and why he’s getting a divorce. She wants him to forget about his troubles and teaches him how to tango.

A very short-haired Reva, Josh and the kids have Thanksgiving at Cross Creek, with Reva wondering if Cassie will show up. She doesn’t understand why they’re where they are today, and said she assumed when Annie finally died, they’d have no problems to deal with. A food package is delivered and that cursed coin is back in the package! Reva starts to think Annie is haunting her from her grave now. Josh tries to reassure her and talks about HB and how he built Cross Creek and enjoyed it’s beauty and that’s what they need to do now.

Ben is drinking and looking at another newspaper article about an adoptive mother convicted of scalding her child on Thanksgiving, with a flashback to his mom yelling at him as a kid during Thanksgiving dinner. So I guess he got whatever scar from his mother. Blake shows up and interrupts him. She begs him to be her lawyer again, to which he agrees. His sad, lonely Thanksgiving dinner arrives and she feels sorry for him. HIs adopted mother calls, and he pretends to be nice, and asks if she got her check from him, so it seems like he’s still taking care of her which pains him. Blake finds his box of newspaper clippings and realizes he’s the boy in the articles and understands now why he doesn’t like Thanksgiving. Ben says it’s not his adopted mother’s fault, because she was forced to take him, which was ultimately Ross’s fault since he made their mother send Ben away (such a stretch haha). Ben says Justin was away (their other brother) and Ross had to make the decision to get rid of Ben. We then learn that Ben had plastic surgery to get rid of his scars and he became a new person from there. A new man that people couldn’t make fun of or call names. Blake says his secret is safe with her and she now understands him so much better. She says this changes everything, kisses him and leaves.

After Thanksgiving dinner, Michelle goes back to the beach alone and flashes back to killing Mick. Danny finds her there and asks why she’s revisiting the scene of the crime. She said she’s just there to think, but he says she knows something about Mick’s death. He hypothesizes to her that Mick was flirting with Michelle, which upset Jesse and Jesse killed him for it out of jealousy. Meanwhile, Jesse/Drew/Bill realize Michelle is gone so the guys leave to find her, leaving Selena with Drew. Selena just returned back from LA and said she knows they hired Danny, which was a dumb move. Selena tells Drew that even though Danny went to college and is educated, that just makes him more dangerous and they need to be careful before he kills them. Drew then asks Selena if she found her daughter in LA. Selena says no, but she learned that her daughter was adopted by a rich family and has lived a nice life, so she finds peace in that. Drew says she hopes Selena can find her daughter by Christmas, and talks about how she used to have cake with her dad every Christmas. Selena asks why and Drew reveals that she was born on Christmas Day. Selena laughs and says her daughter was born on Christmas Day! It ’s getting pretty obvious now that Drew might be Selena’s daughter haha.

Danny gets Michelle to admit that Mick hurt her and just as Danny presses her to reveal what happened, Jesse shows up and pushes Danny away from Michelle. He threatens Danny to never see Michelle again or else, but Michelle actually supports Danny and lies by saying she invited him there because she felt bad that people accused him of kidnapping the girls. Jesse and Michelle leave, with Michelle looking back at Danny as they walk away.

This stuff is WILD. Your recaps are addicting. I love how it goes from Annie threatening to kill her... to both having champagne together and toasting. 😁

Reva always has that 6th sense. 🤭

❤️ Haha thank you - glad you enjoy, just like I enjoy your OLTL ones! I know, Dinah is really in her chaotic era and I chuckled myself when they started toasting champagne after pulling guns on each other. It reminded me of their mutually beneficial "friendship" back before Annie/Alan's wedding when Watros was still in the role.

I remember how insightful and intelligent Dinah was during this era... it was a shame that the writers kept her as a loser in all aspects in order to prop up Saint Cassie.
