GH: OK, let's set something straight. Sonny WOULD NOT be a Yankees fan

Sonny grew up in Brooklyn in the 1970s. At that time almost nobody there was a Yankees fan. They were all Brooklyn Dodgers fans who moved on to root for the Mets. Brooklyn was the epicenter of the Mets fan base.

Sonny and his kids should be talking about going to Citifield to watch the Mets play. Any family that proudly counts Brooklyn as their ancestoral homeland, and harkins back to the old Bensonhurst neighborhood, would NEVER count themselves as supporters of "the evil empire."

Sonny used be a Mets fan. Guza has a hard on for the Yankees. He must want to score some tickets to the playoffs.

I hate when people try to cram their own likes and dislikes into the characters. Reminds me of Zach "Redwings" Slater. It's annoying.

I remember Lois and Sonny were Mets fans and the Qs were Yankee fans which makes perfect sense.

When it fits with a character I have no problem with it.

It's annoying to you, but not to everyone. The actor/actress plays the character, why shouldn't they incorporate somethings? They sure do put some of their own traits and whatnot in.

Some are just so dang nitpicky

To be honest, I don't care what the hell Sonny likes or dislikes.

But I do remember Sonny and Lois being Mets in the past, but not like that matters anymore.
