Milton Geiger takes over as headwriter from Charles Gussman.

Does anyone know the name of Len Whiting's twin brother, the one that died due to Andrea's negligence ...her affair with Larry Carter. I used to have it , but I can't find it anywhere...

Had Mr. Gussman succeeded Irving Vendig as the headwriter?

I think so. Irving Vendig left to headwrite Edge of Night.

For the record,Joanna Lee became exec producer in Jan 83, replacing Fred Bartholomew.

Mr. Vendig wrote and created Three Steps to Heaven at some point (1953?) for television. He also wrote Perry Mason for radio at some point. The Edge of Night premiered in April 1956.

Erwin Nicolson becomes exec producer after cancellation of Edge of Night,which he was longtime exec producer.

Len's twin brother was named Jamie.

Poor Wendy. From reading synopsis on Search, she always seemed to be a fool for Warren despite all the heinous things he did to her stepsister and best friend, Suzi.

I dont recall but why did SFT move from CBS to NBC? I use to watch it when it was on CBS and never followed it to NBC and apparently neither did most of the CBS viewers..it went from a 6.8 rating on CBS to half of that 3.4 for NBC.

Brian Frons/CBS canceled it for Capitol.
