I thought it was a very touching memorial, I almost teared up when Paris spoke.

The only parts I found moving were Marlon & Paris speaking about him toward the end, J-Hud singing, and everybody going up on stage and singing WatW & HtW.

Yeah, it means all the Friday cliffhangers written that will air between now and two/three months from now will be Monday episodes now. Which certainly makes for some dull Fridays.

Not only that, but it also means that we (Angela and myself) will have to remember to change the dates in all our previews for the next few weeks as well.

That's weird cause I saw Friday's eppy of Y&R on SoapNet then they showed an older eppy of Y&R following it and not AMC...LOL

Btw..where was the live coverage of Farrah Fawcett's service? I know Michael was the King of Pop but not covering Farrah's service was kind of lame. She was just as big of a star.

SoapNet Repeated Monday's Episode of All My Children. I know because My Mother and I Turned to SoapNet at 7 PM on Tuesday Night and It was Monday's Episode. They had the DA and Randi and You can Tell that It was A Repeat because the DA is Dead and I could Tell that They were doing the Things that they were doing on Monday. Jody

Interesting. Seems SOAPnet didn't find it financially beneficial to air a repeat of All My Children like ABC did. Very interesting.

The Young and the Restless aired an original episode.

As for Fawcett, the network's find Michael as a bigger news story, unfortunately. Michael, even with the good and the bad, drove television ratings through the roof whenever something was mentioned about him. Now that he is dead, they want to get the last dollar out of him before it becomes yesterday's news.

What are You Talking About? ABC Did Not Have A Repeat of All My Children. ABC had the Original Monday Episode on Monday. ABC had the Memorial Service for Michael Jackson on Tuesday. ABC had A New Show on Wednesday. SoapNet had A Repeat of Monday's Episode of All My Children on Tuesday Night. I haven't Seen All My Children on SoapNet on Wednesday Night at 7 PM Central. However, I Expect to See The ABC Episode that was on Wednesday to be on SoapNet at Midnight. Jody

Farrah had a private service at the Cathedral of Our Lady, Queen of the Angels in downtown LA. No media ws allowed in the church. Griffin attended the service minus shackles and prison garb. Local news film crews were outside of the church. I don't know where she was buried.

In Germany, most radio stations had boycotted MJ's music for years - now every station's trying to play as many of his songs as possible. His funeral service was broadcasted by several networks, including both national broadcasting stations (ARD + ZDF).

This week, 23 singles by MJ entered the German singles chart, and 9 albums entered the album chart.
