Members AllAboutAngst
Rick Springfield baby!!!!!! I knew his return would give GH a ratings spike. He's been getting a ton of mainstream press.
Administrator Toups Posted December 15, 2005 Author Administrator Share Posted December 15, 2005 GH is the 3's? WOW. Kudos to Rick Springfield!! That 3.2 on Friday is their highest in a long time. I hope this is a sign that all soaps are up instead of just ABC.

I guess this was one of those weeks where "it" just happened. Like a week in January for a year or two had a nice jump for all the soaps almost unexplainably. Members dtchicago
I am wondering if these high numbers have to do with all the snow storms in the midwest and northeast last week. Good for soaps!
Members Angela
BTW, thanks so much for always posting the daily numbers for us early, allatwitter. Oh, yeah Friday, I stayed home - snow in NYC (that was cleaned up by noon, but all the same first sig. snow in NYC this season and again I stayed home)! Unfortunately they all will probably drop "hard" for this week (next week).
Administrator Toups Posted December 15, 2005 Author Administrator Share Posted December 15, 2005 I was wondering if there was a snow storm too. Snow storms always = good ratings.

Members skiman12082004
I can't wait to see how the soaps did in total viewers. I think it's a very telling sign that compared to the significant ratings jump that Y&R, B&B and ATWT had on friday GL could only muster a .1. I'm sorry to say but the writing is on the wall.
