So, I think many people, of many ages, find Zac sexy. Did you see his recent pose atop a pole? (that's not a racy line...he really posed atop a pole). It is breathtaking.

I see what you mean about GR ... he's cute ... but I can't think of a 30+ year old man as "pubescent". He's not a furry growly tall dude...but he's a grown man.

I'd definitely rank GR > MG. Both are okay, but GR is better IMO.

I feel a little bad about moila. Part of me thinks she's a sockpuppet...someone having fun with the board and enjoying the reactions.

But assuming there is a real person behind the posts...some folks are sooooooo mean. It's like we sometimes forget the humanity of the person behind the keyboard.

Possibly. Possibly a teenager. But again, if people would just stick to giving their own opinions instead of castigating others for what they like, it wouldn't be an issue.

It was just a joke on your use of the word 'subgroup' in your post about GR. It just sounded like there was some kind of faction or something. Just made me giggle. :)

If Khan were here, he'd appropriately give me trouble. "Subgroup"...another one of my academic "jargon" words that use too much. Now that you have highlighted it, it makes me giggle too.

Sex appeal is so subjective. Taste in men and women is not something that can be discussed. I don't understand why people make fun of us liking GR. We don't criticize who you like.

Well I didn't intend on making fun of all the GR fans or GR. He's just not my cup of tea. I'm sorry if I offended anyone.

As for Efron, I did see the photo. But he's so squeaky clean and one dimensional. Six pac abs and a bright white smile don't equal sexy to me.

And the SON boards aren't really rampant with teenies. I think cara's right. It's a poseur.

There's just something so wimpy about both GR and MG.

Like if they were in a fight against the actor who plays Noah, that kid'd deck them, give them wedgies, then twist their arm back so hard, they'd fall to the ground begging for him to stop like little girls.

And I have no doubt Noah would be able to take both of them at once.

So basically, Kevin Schmidt > MG+GR.

IMO, Khalil has the least sex appeal of anyone on the show. She's two and a half years older than me, but I would still feel like a perv for calling her "sexy" or "hot" or "bangable" or anything like that. Yich! Take that away from me, please. Goddard, on the other hand, oozes sexiness to me. But only when he's not around Khalil.

As far as GR and MG? Both yes, but MG >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> GR.

The only women who I would call sexy are Bregman and maybe Case. Hendrickson and Frantz are SO far from sexy to me. Frantz had a little something going over at B&B, but it's not there now. O'Brien and Bloom are overrated, IMO.

Did you see Khalil in her white wedding night number? She had something...

Stafford can be very very sexy. So still can Eileen Davidson. We saw this more in her bed scenes with Rick on B&B.

I think Bloom is amazing...in a bathing suit. Sharon is also...breathtaking. Especially in her bras.

Goddard is low on my list. GR would be well ahead of Goddard...and of MG.

Engen (sigh) was among the best, and Morrow's abs cannot be denied. Luckinbill is cut perfection, and

is gonna be nice. KSJ is remarkably hot (and underused in that capacity). Doug Davidson is still the king, and they don't play that enough either.

Folks around here didn't seem to like CLB's shirtless shots, but he has put a lot of work into that body. DavidEvanSmith would call him a FDF, and Brimike would call him a butterface. Sigh.

Summarizing:

Bloom>Case>Stafford>Khalil>Bregman>Davidson

Engen>Morrow>Davidson>KSJ>Rikaart>Graziadei>Goddard

I'm sure I'm leaving major folks out here...

:P:P:P

I adore Linda Gray. There is a group in Facebook called Sue Ellen gave drinking some class. I joined it of course!

MarKH:

I feel a little bad about moila. Part of me thinks she's a sockpuppet...someone having fun with the board and enjoying the reactions.

That's what I think too...

The problem with CK is that she behaves like she is eleven and DG always looks like a pervert to me in their sexy/romantic scenes. He is very hot though.

I always thought TB was sexy.. SC was not at first, she became very sexy over the years. SH was very hot as Linda Tabbak on Prison Break and I hope Mary Jane will become hotter :)

Jill used to be a very sexual character for decades, but she has forgotten all about that. She started out as an Erica, she ended up like Mrs. Chancellor.

MarkH, I like how you hijacked the thread and turned into who has sex appeal and in what order. Here's my list --

Case>Walton>Bloom>Stafford>Khalil>Bregman>Franz>O'Brien>Thomas Scott>Sursok>Davidson

Engen>Morrow>Goddard>Luckinbill>Bergman>Miller>LeBlanc>Graziadei>Gellman>Schmidt>Davidson>KSJ>Rikaart>Bryton

Jess Walton is a miracle. How the hell can a 60-year old be so hot? I am amazed. When they came up with the term "cougar" they were thinking of Jill Abbott.

I had to put Engen at the top of the men's list because in spite of my thinking Adam is super creepy and CE is a flake, I still think he's hot, so he must be on fire to overcome my prejudices.

Sharon Case is incredibly hot even when fully clothed. I was always thought it was funny that Sharon was supposed to the be "good wife" next to vixen Phyllis. One nice thing about Sharon's breakdown is that it's made her the Temptress, which is a natural for SC.

    • -- Jesus, that was bad. -- If we're going to bash Will's face-making, we can't let Luna off the hook. All that scrunched-face crying was annoying. -- Still no explanation as to how Luna escape, leading to utter stupidity that she gets away AGAIN while Will just stands there. -- Meanwhile, the entire cast hilariously gets texts about the jail escape and heads to the beach house.

    • I knew Ray Wise looked familiar (beyond How I Met Your Mother, which I also watched, where he replaced Eric Braeden!).

GH really needs to keep the WSB honeypot away from Emma, and especially from Gio. If they want to put the two of them in a triangle with someone, it should definitely be with Trina. And, while I don't like Sidwell or this storyline that much, that was a really good ending. I didn't see it coming either.
    • In regards to Long's 2nd stint, it appears as though she officially came back as head-writer between the 4th of July/Bauer Barbeque episodes 1987 and mid August 1987.. and then between April and September 1988 were episodes written by the scabs.  I almost count her having 3 stints head-writing Guiding Light since the writer strike lasted five months. In her 2nd stint, she seemed focused on the following: - Sonni returning from the dead thus keeping Reva/Josh apart yet again so she naturally turns to Alan and causes the ending of the Vanessa/Alan relationship.   I wonder if Maeve's decision to leave affected some of this because she was gone by January 1988, a few months after Long's return so she had to come up with a way to get Vanessa to take off (and it was to be there for Billy during a low point if I recall). - Phillip/Chelsea were pretty heavily focused on during this 2nd stint period and I liked their rapport. - A lesser focused story in the background was the Lillian/Hawk/Sarah situation - Formulating her next version of the 4 Muskateers with Cam/Dinah/Harley/Alan Michael... but in order to include a more rough around the edges Harley.. Dinah was softened quite a bit (though I did see a cat fight between Harley/Dinah where Dinah belted Harley so I think Turco could have played an edgier Dinah). - There also seemed to be a Spaulding takeover going on with Phillip trying to oust Alan.. and it affected his relationship with Chelsea. Post-writer strike, I noticed that the Phillip/Harley arc kicked into gear with him pretending to be 'my fair lady' with Harley.. but trying to set it up to look as though they were sleeping together.  That arc plus the aftermath of Maeve's death were what Long started when she came back after the strike. I don't know how the Alan/Reva situation would have gone had CB remained in the role and if the writer strike hadn't happened.
    • I've only been solidly watching the show for the first time the past few months. I was familiar with parts of the show and some of the character just from being a soap fan. I do have to say that I am enjoying GH more than any other shows right now. Sure, it has flaws but it seems to move along fairly well, and most of all, the eye-candy. Damn, there are so many cute men on this show. Nathan and Michael are at the top of my list.

    • I have to say that I was honestly surprised by the exit this week. With spoilers and casting news, it is tough to pull off an honest shocker, and this shooting actually made gasp out loud.  I would bet many of you would enjoy it, if you watch it more regularly, I know that has been my experience this month.
    • I believe she is talented and maligned for a reason. I fundamentally disagree with what she thinks soaps should be. And I am far from a traditionalist when it comes to the genre. There are many direct sources of her behavior and bad decisions, and my own eyes watching ratings decline after sweeps bumps on her her shows, it’s pretty clear she survived in power, especially at GH, specifically because the genre was declining. I will not further derail this thread with JFP unless it is pertinent. But I finish with this. She was asked directly over the years if she regretted killing Maureen off from Guiding Light. And for years she said she did. But someone pinned her down when she was at Y&R the first time, Michael Logan perhaps, and she admitted what she regretted and would never do again is making the audience care so much about a character right before killing then off. The tragic nature of the story leading into killing Maureen is what she regrets, not that she misjudged the audience, or that she didn’t have the foresight to see how destabilizing that was going to be for that particular show.
    • If they bring back Connie, that kooky lady who kidnapped Melinda, or if Stephanie's stalker is a crazed fan, or if it is something based on her book, I may pluck an eyelash. I think the misdirect is that the stalker is after Alex, when they are really after Stephanie (unless it is Joy Wesley - that would be a surprise).
