ATWT: Elizabeth Hubbard is leaving and joining another soap

Elizabeth Hubbard (Lucinda, ATWT) is joining the cast of the most watched Dutch soap called 'Goede Tijden Slechte Tijden' (Good Times, Bad Times).

Elizabeth will play Sair Poindexter, the American mother of Irene Huygens and the grandmother of Dex and Ronja. Elizabeth is visiting The Netherlands for 8 weeks and start taping on June 1st 2009, and will start airing at july 3th 2009, the day that the soap will go into a summerbreak. The soap will be back at the end of August and then the storyline is going to start. "I am very exicted to be joining such a distinqueshed cast on such a popular show. I already feel welcomed by my new Dutch family and I look forward to all the upcoming challenges. This is an actors dream and I can't wait to get started" says Elizabeth of her new show adventure.

This is not the first time that the soap has cast a famous actrice from another country. Swedish actress Alexandra Dahlström joined the show as Skylar Nilsson for 3 months a few years ago and came back a year later for another month because her character was so popular.
