    I'm not too disappointed since we got five seasons when in reality we should've only gotten one. It was such a unqiue show and will miss the themed episodes. Also, the cinematography and directing was so superior to other comedies. I'll miss that aspect of the show too.

    I had it in mind that another venue (specifically online) could pick up the show.

    My only caveat about that is, I guess, is that what happened to Arrested Development when it got to Netflix, is a cautionary tale of what could happen to a show.

    One never knows, though, without the same pressures and restrictions that are associated with network TV, a show like Community could flourish.

    I know some fans think the problem with AD was that it had been so long that the cast had moved on, which meant their appearances were very fragmented. I don't know though.

    I love that too! For all the perils and annoyances of living in the age of the Internet, the possibilities that have developed for alternative options for programming has been an amazing breath of fresh air! Online streaming is definitely one of those options that I see flourishing over the next few years.
