I had heard the actors that worked on AW usually were picked up via cab/car pool to go to the studio in Brooklyn (a tradition mentioned occuring when Texas was in production and also when ATWT moved over to the studio). I had no idea that went back all the way to 1969... was the studio that out of the way? No public transit from Manhatten over to Brooklyn directly?

Well they had to be at the studio early and I don't think hanging around a train station at 6am in Winter would be anyone's idea of a good time.

Thank goodness P&G weren't that cheap.

  • A nice achievement to see the thread has reached 1,000 pages. I'm forever saddened that almost all of what was apparently AW's best is gone, never to be seen again, but I've been fascinated by AW ever

Go to the 32 minute mark of this 1968 episode of AW- Audra Linley’s Liz is featured.

  • Fun fact: This thread was my first introduction to SON 😂

There’s one train line that runs right near where the studio was but in the 70s-80s, it definitely, and the subway system in general, wasn’t safe lol

According to the Another World Homepage Liz and Kevin left together to go to California. I remember Liz saying goodbye to Catlin and saying she was leaving with Kevin. I just don’t remember where she said they were going. Liz’s last episode (June 10, 1986) is not available on YouTube to verify.

Kevin was last seen at Sally's funeral on May 28, 1986, which is on YouTube. Catlin assures Kevin that he won't ever be alone and that he is the best thing Sally shared with him. And then a couple of weeks later he just lets Liz take the kid permanently forever without any attempt to stay in his life. Liz stayed away until Thanksgiving the following year and I don't believe she mentioned Kevin or Catlin or even Sally again.

Although as you mention June 10 is not on YouTube, I wound up watching a scene from June 12 that answered a question I had had about Michael's alleged history with Rachel when they were young. He stops by Mary's Place to see Ada and thank her for talking sense to Victoria, and she recognizes him as Rachel's high school friend Michael Garrison. When Rachel had run into Michael previously she had talked as if they were younger and mentioned the Mickey Mouse Club but Ada talks as if they were a little older and Michael mentions the Beatles.
