I agree, the obvious big question here should be, what's wrong with Sharon since she clearly doesn't do this. Although, everyone in town is is acting so blase' they just don't even seem to care about the real issue here.

But its not like everyone in town should care.

I think the obvious people should - Nick, Jack, Noah. Perhaps Victor. MAYBE Nikki. Thats it. (Brad, if he were alive).

Nobody else really knows Sharon. And of those above Noah really doesnt seem much to care and Nick cares more about her not going to jail rather than what she did and whys he did. Then there is Jack... i cant really commit because my hatred of good ol jackass always clouds my view of him, lol.

Right now, the only thing Nick is concerned about is "little nick" and when the next hook up is. I think that Jack was onto it there for a while that something was wrong with Sharon but he's been so pre-occupied with Mary Jane lately that it seems to have taken a back seat... just like with Nick, he's always got his hands full with Red. Therefore, who is left to care? I'm surprised they haven't brought Nikki into this. Where the hell is Dru when a sister needs her?

I guess this is my thing, Nikki doesn't really know Lily right? But if Lily was arrested for stealing and JT and Victoria told Nikki I think the first thing out of Nikki's mouth would be "Well that doesn't sound like Lily." I don't know why we haven't gotten that from a single person on the show regarding Sharon. Everyone is very blase about it like stealing is something that she does everyday. I'm not saying that people should care or rush to Sharon's aid, but I think it's strange that nobody is even going "Sharon Newman is stealing? Why would she steal?" not even in idle gossip (in a conversation not unlike the one Nikki, Victoria and Katherine had about Neil quitting Newman).

What kind of example does she set for Eden when she stands by and lets Gloria, Michael and Kevin get away for their crimes? Puh leaze, she loses all credibility by nature of the people she hangs around and supports.

IA. Sharon's behavior is not normal at all. To bring up alot of great points

I didnt mind Lauren pressing charges against Sharon. It was the self righteous and hypocrtical rant that came alogn with it that bothered me. Also she shouldnt have said she was doing it bc she needed to set an example for Eden. Simply doing it bc Sharon stole $10,000 in merchandise and nearly set Eden to jail was enough. Anyways it came across to me as if her anger towards Sharon was stemming from her talk earlier with Phyllis and getting revenge for her BFF

The greatest tv series season finale in history.
    • Mick Savage was sooo unbearable. And more unbearable was the reaction from the female characters to him - they were acting like he is God's gift to women and sooo irresistible. To a point of unbelievable cringe.
    • Today was a short one. Only 33 minutes.  The ‘Part One’ graphic at the beginning was pretty interesting though. I didn’t expect them to do something like that.  I like how everything was focused around John and his family and friends. Again, the acting and the dialogue was very well done and well written. And I love that they were able to incorporate Drake’s, “swing for the fences” phrase into the script. It was nice seeing everyone interact with each other, especially characters who don’t often share scenes together. It felt like every character was part of a big family or community. Plus, an outdoor funeral in June makes a lot more sense than an outdoor funeral in December.  But yeah, it’s very, very strange that Will isn’t at the funeral, especially since we know that

I would much rather he had been there today. And, where’s Anna too? And Jack and Jennifer? What was the point of bringing them all back if they weren’t going to attend the funeral? I expected Steve to want to close down BlackPatch, though I’d rather he just retire and let Paul take it over. But I like that Kayla was there to comfort him. I wonder if he’s going to change his mind at some point.  It was nice seeing Shane again too. Now, he just needs to have more scenes with his son lol but I enjoyed seeing him comfort Marlena. I’m not really sure about his interaction with Cat though? Was it really necessary for this to happen now, at John’s funeral? They could’ve waited a little longer to introduce this story arc.  Btw, was Tate bleeding from his head in his first scene with Arianna?
    • This is the coldest early June in my life. It's like it's January.

    • Now this strikes me as funny. I have it up on my acct. The thing is I only have S2. Didn't want either 1 or 3.  Perhaps I should just list all of these that I have up.  Parodies: Dirty Sexy Money, Filthy Rich Incomplete: The Monroes, All That Glitters, Falcon Crest (have all just not all up), Once & Again S2 only Complete: Models Inc, Pasadena, Pacific Palisades, Paper Dolls, Flamingo Road
    • This is wonderful! Thank you for posting this! I loved the first two seasons and never got to see the final season when they cancelled the DVD release. I've been hoping this popped up on streaming but no luck. Happy I'll finally get to see how it ended!

Morgan Fairchild, Barbara Rush. Developed by Rita Lakin.
    • Arguably DAYS OF OUR LIVES has been brilliant lately & definitely was last week. But, here I am with nitpick & technicalities. This was the only misstep but it was just a stupid thing that should have been caught. Deidre Hall as Marlena has this one problematic line, "It didn't matter how many identities you had, I always knew exactly who you were, you were the man who saved my life." - Marlena, DAYS, 6-2-25 Unfortunately the flashback closest to it was when Marlena was on the phone, terrified because she thought he was Stefano. Yes, it's true that the line is not accurate. There were many times when she did not feel the way she is claiming because of whatever was going on in story with his 'retconned to hell & back' identity & origin story. Does it keep the whole week from being called excellent? Nope.
