Here! Here! You're preaching to the choir! <_<

Colleen has never been stupid until this last recast and this storyline isn't helping matters.

Me as well, she doesn't have the charisma that this role needs and deserves.

I agree, I'm still intrigued by the MJ character and can't wait for the big reveal... I just hope all the buildup doesn't disappoint.

Nope, nothing Goth about Eden at all but perhaps they will go there?

Such a damn shame, she owned that role and I said several weeks ago that she should come back and wreak some havoc on Paul and Heather.

I cracked up reading this and looking at BA in your avatar with that look on her face, which was perfect for what you wrote.

Or write for them and actually show them on screen. Ridiculous!

It doesn't matter if it was to me, it was a cool idea and neither of us seem to be sure of the circumstances surrounding how the actors felt at that time. She mentioned she was asked and she told them she felt Phyllis was a good character am sure she's not the only one on set to think of it but that was cool I pretty mmuch liked what she said about the Phyllis character overall, I really don't need any hypotheticals or possible scenarios in how it was done I liked the interview the way it is. Whether or not it was done in passing is not very important the actress did not indicate that was or was not the case, and I did not perceive her response as such. Thanks. :D

It does mean a little something to me which is why I replied. Since many people read the boards, I can see a scenario where suddenly it's online community lore that Sharon Case came up with the idea for the Phyllis and Nick pairing, which, she did not. The response was as much for others as for you. It is good that you don't need hypotheticals as you will take little from my response. Frankly, that's just fine. We take what we need and keep moving around here.

Let's be clear your reply to a quote of my post came off as if you were correcting me on something, if you needed to make it clear you didn't have to quote me cause frankly my post was in reference to the actress' quote from the article. So if one of those people you felt you needed to clearify your knowledge on who came up with what idea about a storyline was me, next time don't feel the "need" please. Thank you!

I thought Lauren was very reasonable in her reasons for wanting Sharon to pay for her crime. What kind of example does it set for both Noah and Eden that Sharon should get away scott free because she's the town "Darling"? Its like this character should somehow be protected from any fall out from her affairs, and now her crimes, why? No other character, besides Victor, never has to pay the piper, and it is the reason most people now hate his character. Will she at least be shown seeing a therapist or will she be instantly cured by Nick's love?

I also don't see how it is an accident that Sharon let Eden take the fall. She must have been in serious denial not to be able to put two and two together when her mother caught her stealing and called her on it. She was aware of what she was doing and should have remembered handing Eden the bag that day. Are we ever going to see Sharon at least apologize to the girl that she has judged as much as Nikki judged her when she was dating a teenage Nick?

I don't think Lauren was very reasonable at all and Sharon being the town "darling" has nothing to do with it. My biggest problem is people's complete, I guess or the lack of questions about WHY Sharon would do this. Does Lauren actually believe that a very normal and mentally healthy Sharon would steal those books or those clothes? No, I don't think so at all. I think they all know better. In fact, if I lived in Genoa City and someone said "Did you know Sharon has been stealing things all over town", the first thing I'd ask is "What is wrong with her" or "That doesn't sound like Sharon". Really, why would Sharon need to steal books or clothes? She doesn't appear to be hurting for money at all. Lauren was pressing charges for revenge really. She was mad at Sharon and I get that, but I don't really believe that her reasons were noble or that she was trying to set some grand example for Noah and Eden.

I do agree however, that Sharon needs some therapy.

Also, while Sharon has made mistakes and absolutely owes Eden an apology for the books, lets not act as though Eden is innocent or that Sharon wasn't somewhat justified in not particularly wanting Noah to hang out with her considering - I believe the first time Sharon and Nick met Eden she was drunk, dancing badly at an unsupervised party sticking Noah's phone down her shirt while he was trying to answer his parents' call.

The greatest tv series season finale in history.
    • Mick Savage was sooo unbearable. And more unbearable was the reaction from the female characters to him - they were acting like he is God's gift to women and sooo irresistible. To a point of unbelievable cringe.
    • Today was a short one. Only 33 minutes.  The ‘Part One’ graphic at the beginning was pretty interesting though. I didn’t expect them to do something like that.  I like how everything was focused around John and his family and friends. Again, the acting and the dialogue was very well done and well written. And I love that they were able to incorporate Drake’s, “swing for the fences” phrase into the script. It was nice seeing everyone interact with each other, especially characters who don’t often share scenes together. It felt like every character was part of a big family or community. Plus, an outdoor funeral in June makes a lot more sense than an outdoor funeral in December.  But yeah, it’s very, very strange that Will isn’t at the funeral, especially since we know that

I would much rather he had been there today. And, where’s Anna too? And Jack and Jennifer? What was the point of bringing them all back if they weren’t going to attend the funeral? I expected Steve to want to close down BlackPatch, though I’d rather he just retire and let Paul take it over. But I like that Kayla was there to comfort him. I wonder if he’s going to change his mind at some point.  It was nice seeing Shane again too. Now, he just needs to have more scenes with his son lol but I enjoyed seeing him comfort Marlena. I’m not really sure about his interaction with Cat though? Was it really necessary for this to happen now, at John’s funeral? They could’ve waited a little longer to introduce this story arc.  Btw, was Tate bleeding from his head in his first scene with Arianna?

    • Now this strikes me as funny. I have it up on my acct. The thing is I only have S2. Didn't want either 1 or 3.  Perhaps I should just list all of these that I have up.  Parodies: Dirty Sexy Money, Filthy Rich Incomplete: The Monroes, All That Glitters, Falcon Crest (have all just not all up), Once & Again S2 only Complete: Models Inc, Pasadena, Pacific Palisades, Paper Dolls, Flamingo Road
    • This is wonderful! Thank you for posting this! I loved the first two seasons and never got to see the final season when they cancelled the DVD release. I've been hoping this popped up on streaming but no luck. Happy I'll finally get to see how it ended!

    • Arguably DAYS OF OUR LIVES has been brilliant lately & definitely was last week. But, here I am with nitpick & technicalities. This was the only misstep but it was just a stupid thing that should have been caught. Deidre Hall as Marlena has this one problematic line, "It didn't matter how many identities you had, I always knew exactly who you were, you were the man who saved my life." - Marlena, DAYS, 6-2-25 Unfortunately the flashback closest to it was when Marlena was on the phone, terrified because she thought he was Stefano. Yes, it's true that the line is not accurate. There were many times when she did not feel the way she is claiming because of whatever was going on in story with his 'retconned to hell & back' identity & origin story. Does it keep the whole week from being called excellent? Nope.
