I think whomever is responsible for the story has a positive feeling toward the genre. Doesn't feel like a hit piece, imo.

GL cancelation mentioned, as is Dee Hall's firing. Some shots from OLTL (including fan events). More AMC than any other soap.

Oh yeah, JHC...we probably will be watching the actors of AMC in front of black curtains very soon.

Made me remember why I love AMC but can't help but remind you how different the show, heck many soaps are today from their past incarnations.

Lucci is stunning in it.

Worth watching, imo.

Yeah, about the only GH related thing they talked about was Luke and Laura's wedding. Very little OLTL too....they couldn't even mention that Agnes Nixon created it as well as AMC.

It seems like the ABC News reporter who put this story together has a Erica Kane and AMC fetish. LOL

I kept thinking, why not talk to Erika Slezak or someone from the cast of OLTL. I could understand more with GH, considering it was an NYC based story, but still.....AMC isn't the only soap ABC has you know.

I think it is on ABC's nightline show. But it didn't take up the whole 31 1/2 minutes of the show....in fact the ABC soaps story got sandwhiched in between the Sandra Cantu murder and swine flu.
