B&B: Lesley Anne Down Re-Signs

I don't think this was reported earlier, last month Lesley Anne Down re-signed with B&B, though she states on her website that "she is very happy to be staying on B&B for another year".

What's interesting to me is that LAD only re-signed for a year...I wonder if this is a new strategy at B&B, sign them for a year and then deal 'em down every year after for a renewal?

You're talking about "Nick" as the loser, right?

You know what though? Flannery will elevate both Down and Wagner. So, I'm now reserving judgement, because before this twist, I would personally have been happy to escort Mr. Wagner out of the building.

If only we could get Heather Tom into Flannery's orbit, there might actually be some pieces I would enjoy.

After reading what you wrote...I had to think a little bit...and you're RIGHT. She does try too hard which is why even when she's fun, she isn't breezy or enjoyable. It's like "Ohhh Jackie's being naughty!"...but not natural. Very good observation.

I don't hate her; I feel sad for her. She tries so hard, but she just cannot pull this one of the way she should. Jackie needs to go. And Nick can accompany her. A great idea (Marones) went terribly awry.
