Just watched Friday's episode... my God. The Nick/Sharon/Phyllis triangle continues to amaze me. Sharon is in deep sh*t, and it's exhilarating to watch. Phyllis is getting borderline again, and it's exhilarating to watch. Nick is so devoted to his ex wife, it's exhilarating to watch. I know some people have had enough of this triangle, but there are a lot of dynamics here that NEED to be played up.

Chloe had my sympathy. It's so obvious that she loves Billy, and the whole marriage is a train wreck waiting to happen. I am loving Ashley's new role as the John of the Abbott family, it works out so well.

And, what can one say about the Jill/Kay scenes? Anything that had to be said about La Walton's performance has already been said. She was just... flawless. Great one-liners, ("Digging worms," "marrying trash," etc). Nikki was, once again, her fabulous stripper-yet-refined self. When Kay was announcing that she's going to the wedding, they played one of my favorite, if not favorite, music cues, and the same with a scene later on at the Chancellor dining room. Very tense music played just befor, and during, the catfight! I was so overejoyed to see the reintroduction to the feud: "You want a war, lady? You'll HAVE IT!" And, then, another catfight! I don't think we've seen one since 2002. Boy, was it perfectly done! Fire, sparks, passion, hate! Jill and Kay have always loved each other, in some sick way, deep, deep down. Now that their relationship was much closer, I expect their hate to be equally bigger.

We're totally on the same wavelength about the show. It really is straight up exhilarating to watch.

What I loved about the Kay/Jill scenes were that they were really about Jill...it was HER world that was falling apart and Walton just nailed it. Her quivering bottom lip, her eyes, everything was pitch perfect.

I know. That's why I like this casting so far.

Nowadays, soaps tend to glamorize every woman, no matter their social class, to the point where they're supermodels. Especially on Y&R where everyone in the cast is upperclass at this point, even Esther. So it was nice to see Mac not be that.

And with Kimsey and the doe-eyed Mac, the writers definitely lost track of who she was. So it's nice to see her stripped down. I hope she brings her world view to this show. Everyone's so narcissistic lol.

So, I'm not thrilled about a skulking psycho bitch...if that is what she is...or even that Victor would foolishly unleash such a thing on his town (after all the psychos that have afflicted sundry Newmans over the years--Veronica, Gary, Eddie, Rick Daros, Eve Howard; if it is Mary Jo I'm even more dumbfounded 'cause she almost KILLED him and Cricket).

But, if she's a keeper, let's see her develop some ties...they might even give us some clues to who she is.

WAIT!

She tried to murder Cricket? I love her.

Clementine Ford looks much better on the show than she did in those photos we've seen.

She does. Im not surprised. She was beautiful on The L Word.

I think shes really pretty in the pic in my banner too.

Mac isn't supposed to be "glamorous" or traditionally pretty though, and I hope they don't attemp to make her a beauty queen ever again.

I agree. Tho i did like Kimsey in the role. Better than Bash or Kruger.

Yes, but a couple of pictures we've seen before weren't that good.

Jess Walton has such a wicked sense of humour!

I wish I could see that.

On the Phickon triangle, I feel bad for Phyllis but how can Nick just stand back and watch Sharon crumble like this? Seriously? I don't think he's being a slimeball at all. He's not thinking clearly and he's being inconsiderate to Phyllis (has been in Paris and when he slept with Sharon)-- but he's not an utter a**hole.

Wow, you can't see US links?

I know you aren't. I didn't know foreigners couldn't see the cbs.com website, though. That's baloney.

Trust me, I know. :(

Yeah, I hope that works. That behind the scenes footage is classic.

Was that Billy Miller clapping behind the camera or Peter Bergman? Those two look too much alike. I did a double take the episode for the rehearsal dinner when Sharon went up to Billy right before she left, apologizing for being the maid of honor. The back of their heads are the same LOL.
