If you haven't watched, I highly recommend it. Amazing cast. Glen Close, Ted Danson, William Hurt. It's a combination legal drama, mystery/suspense. I missed the whole first season and just watched the first two episodes of the second, and I am totally hooked. Can't wait to see what comes next. Very well written, portrayed, and the production values are flawless IMO.

I bought season one, and it was great. SOmething about it felt slightly underwhelming. not in a bad way, but sometimes I forget to give the more straightforward shows a shot.

The supporting cast is amazing, and I'm looking forward to getting into season 2. Am I still suppose to be on Patty's side, because ellen has yet to win me over. It's not that she's naive, it's the fact she hasn't figured out on when to walk away. Her hate is going to make me pity her not root for her.

I'm surprised more people don't talk about this show.

i love and root for them both.

Former "24" co-stars Reiko Aylesworth and Sarah Wynter will reunite on FX's drama series "Damages."

Both actresses have signed for recurring roles on the legal thriller's upcoming third season alongside new regulars Martin Short and Campbell Scott.

The plot line for the Sony TV-produced series is being kept under wraps but it is said to center on a financial scheme.

Wynter will play a mysterious "security specialist" helping a high-level assistant district attorney (Short) unravel the scam.

Aylesworth will play the wife of Scott's character, who is tied to the scandal.

Wynter and Aylesworth appeared together on Season 2 of "24." Aylesworth spent two more seasons on "24" and also recurred on NBC's "ER" and ABC's "Lost." She is repped by Gersh and MJ Management.

Wynter, who is coming back from a hiatus following the birth of her son, is repped by Paradigm and Mosaic.

I have heard the first season is beyond brilliant, but the second... not so much.

That's what I thought.

Which begs the question: Is it worth it getting into the show then?

FX saw its hot streak end Monday night when the season three premiere of "Damages" got off to a rough start.Glenn Close starrer drew only 1.4 million viewers, down 17% from season two's debut episode. In the 18-49 demo, numbers were even more disheartening for the basic cabler: Skein took a 41% tumble as only 428,000 in the demo tuned in compared to 718,000 on Jan. 7, 2009.

"Damages" has twice been Emmy nominated -- and Close has scored two statues -- yet the show has always been ratings challenged. Net is quick to point out that many watch on DVR more than seven days past its original airing and later on DVD. In both instances, those viewers aren't accounted for when figuring out the total aud.

Series, which shifted to Mondays, was given a two-season renewal after season one, and a determination will be made following this season's 13 episodes whether the show will continue. Season finale is set to air in April.

FX has fared well of late. Second season of motorcycle club drama "Sons of Anarchy" was a hit, and the premiere of animated laffer "Archer" also performed nicely in its debut.
