I thought Lynsy Dufour did a great job with her first script.

I know some have speculated that Dr. Sinclair would be Jake's ex-wife Carolyn, but I think she's going to wind up being related to Annie instead. I'm glad the writers have us guessing where this is going; it's more fun when you don't know what's going to happen next.

Opal reading the tea leaves made me laugh out loud. Death & destruction to Rylee can't come soon enough for me!

I loved the Bianca/Reese/Simon/Zach scenes. It was dumb of Bianca to not want to discuss past romantic relationships with Reese, but still Reese omitted details about her relationship with her parents. Imo, she has kept too many secrets for Bianca to fully trust her. I felt sorry for Simon since he was dumped with no explanation and it makes sense to me that his story would fuel Bianca's distrust of Reese. Maybe it's just me, but Zach holding Gabrielle at the end seemed like foreshadowing that he'll seek custody at some point.

I agree. A lot of people have said that because Bianca (and Zach) kept Gabrielle a secret from Kendall, Bianca is a hypocrite for distrusting Reese. I won't deny the wrongness of what Bianca did but that doesn't mean she should trust Reese. Reese's behavior with Zach is a genuine cause for concern and her lying is almost pathological. She seems willing to lie or withhold anything that would might make her less than perfect in Bianca's eyes. She's withheld crucial information that any serious couple should know about each other. The more this storylne goes on the more I distrust Reese, the more unsympathetic I find her and the less I understand who she is and what motivates her.

Not to mention who idiotic Ryan is whenever Greenlee warns him of an omen regarding their reuniting. First, he dismissed her warning him when she said that the tornado was proof they shouldn't together -- and as trees are falling and lighting is flashing and the wind is ripping through the gazebo, the ass is all like, "NO! IT'S THE HEAVENS REJOICING BECAUSE WE FINALLY GOT IT RIGHT!"

Huh?

And then the whole entire town proceeds to be destroyed.

Now, she's like "I have nightmares of seeing myself in my wedding dressed drowned in a bathtub!" and he's all "Oh, pishaw!"

What is his problem? He always seems to ignore her (he did this before when Greenlee warned him about Jonathan), and then when he does, a crapload of problems happen. Why does he want Greenlee so much if he holds absolutely no stock in what she says?

I loved the Bianca/Simon/Reece stuff too.

This Oak Haven stuff is the nuttiest depiction of a loonie bin I have EVER seen on AMC. I keep on thinking I'm watching Passions and not just cuz of the Doc. I do like the mystery elemenet, I just want them to beef up SOME of the realism. Aiden is ALWAYS outside Annie's room, they question him, after he had to be in lock down, and then they're happy just letting him remain grabbing air IN THE HALLS? The doctor is the crappest doctor of all time. SHe always comes in makes some big statement and then leaves straight away--often leavign a patient in the halls, or not locked in, etc. I could go on and on

I know. Which leads me to think, and this is just my own "could possibly be the deal behind the scenes," Bianca was made a lesbian kind of in a way to thwart off any attempts to make Erica a grandmother. Kendall was long gone back when Binks came out in 2000 and they were far from mother and daughter.

But then Culliton reintroduces Kendall. McTavish comes along, rapes and impregnates Bianca, inseminates Kendall, and voila! Erica's a grandmother two times over.

So much for that.

    • Oh wow that’s pretty awesome! I wish I had  approached him but there was so many people
    • In the current environment, while it's small, there is a crumb of good news: Apparently, San Antonio voted for a DEMOCRATIC mayor, Gina Ortiz, beating the "right-hand man" of Gov. Greg Abbott, former Texas Secretary of State Rolando Pablos. https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/5337199-gina-ortiz-jones-wins-san-antonio/
    • Love this! You are both adorable. Wow
    • I have not gone back to watch much of 1987, but from what I've seen lately, it doesn't feel like the writers or producers had any sort of plan. The show feels as if it's constantly in flux.  I will give it credit for this. It's watchable for the most part minus Lisa/Jamie which I find nearly unwatchable now.   I don't find Cheryl mousy. I think she has a lot of quiet strength, but she was saddled with the Scott romance which the writers did not invest in. She had a good friendship with Julie (also criminally underused), and her interactions with Ada were enjoyable as well. I also like Layman, but Spencer was extremely talented and when Cass returns, Schnetzer and Spencer have some wonderful scenes. Spencer also fits in with Alexander, Hogan, and Marie.  I'd forgotten just how much I missed seeing Wallingford. IT was so good to see him again. Even when they didn't have a major plot, Felicia/Cass/Wallingford/Mitch always brings a smile to my face.
    •   Dani’s cute ass party planner. He gave me some tea but I was so drunk I don’t remember it.
    • NBC must have been grateful to have LHOTP, it's only hit and still strong after several seasons. Their next established show was Rockford Files at 45th. They didn't develop any comedies and relied on movies and mini series  which didnt establish viewer loyalty and habits. Their only new hit was mid season's Project UFO which debuted Feb up against Rhoda/On Our Own on CBS and How the West Was Won on ABC. It opened with a strong 36 share beating CBS and close to ABC as HTWWW had a 36 share over 3 hours. The next week UFO saw a respectable 32 share, then a 31 so it was slipping. A 28 share followed but a few weeks later it jumped back up to a 34. So no blockbuster but compared to what else they had, there was potential, So next season NBC sent it to Thursday up against Mork and The Waltons and it bombed.  They were smart to see potential in Chips, which took off on Saturdaysnext season. ABC was on a roll with Love Boat, 3's Company, Taxi, Eight is Enough adding to their hits. Their only real flops were Redd Foxx and San Pedro Beach Bums, an Aaron Spelling misfire. Like Redd Foxx, Harvey Korman was lured to ABC but his series was a filler that did well but was considered a time slot hit. Nancy Walker and Rob Reiner were also given series on the philosophy that not only were they popular names, their absence from popular shows like Sanford, Rhoda and All in the Family might weaken those shows. CBS were relying on old favorites. Betty White was strong the first few weeks then faded. Incredible Hulk was their strongest newbie. It was lucky for CBS that NBC was doing so badly or else some of their weaker shows would have really suffered.
    • That outfit looks like something Martin would wear lol.
    • Omg not we both ran into people from the show this weekend!
    • I guess he was let out the gates, because he's outside.
