Melodie @ Daytime Confidential

John Driscoll, who portrays Henry Cooper "Coop" Bradshaw has already reportedly been let go. Rumor has it the exit will be permanent for the character. E.J. Bonilla (Rafe) is said to be next, with Bonnie Dennison (Daisy), Kane Manera (Grady), and Caitlin Van Zandt (Ashlee) also set to be axed.

Sources also reveal Guidng Light's writing team will be going through another shake up in the new year as well. Things are set to be scaled down.

I would keep John Driscoll but glad the rest are gone! It was about time. Unfortunately, the productions values and stories still suck. They need to fire Krietzman. He is the writer that needs to be fired.

I liked Caitlin Van Zandt and John Driscoll was ok - but I am absolutely thrilled that they axed the rest of those talentless "actors". They were all horrible.

The only person that needs to be fired from GL's writing team is Kreizman. The rest can stay for all I care.

...And Gold and Dunn. I've never understood GL's need to keep former headwriters on their writing staff. Gold and Dunn have had their opportunity to make their mark on the show and they sucked. Axe them. The only untested (and possibly good) element of this new regime is Hurst, although it's not as if she's a newcomer. She has been there along with the rest of that filth and has done nothing remarkable.

I never liked Ashlee,Bonnie Rafe and Grady so I am glad about that.

John Driscoll has grown on me over time.

I agree with Dan about the writers. I don't understand why they have kept Gold and Dunn. Our luck they will return to Kreizman solo.

Aleksander must have cost them!

I like him a lot on GL. Maybe ATWT can hire him as the new JJ Snyder. I am sure he will find work soon.

Aleksander must have cost them!

If that means getting rid of hack writers and useless actors/characters it's all worth it!!

Let's hope they don't get transferred to ATWT!:lol:

Both P&G soaps will probably find themselves in cancellation by September 2009 anyway. P&G and CBS aren't doing a damn thing to improve them and it shows.

So sad to see what the inventor of the soap industry has turned into.

ATWT already has enough hack writers and useless actors/characters as it is. We dont want to double it now. :P

Eh..I agree but what other soap is doing hot these days?? Not a damn one except Y&R. Days is a mess. AMC still sucks. GH is just a lost case. OLTL has some good stuff but the rest is the same [!@#$%^&*] all other soaps are telling. B&B, what a boring show!!
