January 19Jan 19 Member I'm relieved to see signs that Europe is finally coming to her senses. It was truly disgusting to witness so many "leaders" visiting that creature's nest, fake smiling and saying, "THANK YOU master for this and this and this," just to remain in the bully's good graces. Not out of real respect (we all saw and felt the cringe). Out of fear. This is in general - you can't deal with a sociopath by simply turning the other cheek. They should have learned this by now. They tried playing the game like that... being calm and goody goody... AH WE ARE SOOO diplomatic and soooo NICE. And what is happening - it's escalating. That vulture wants to eat. It's never fed. You can't satisfy it. So why even bother anymore.... a sociopath will NEVER stop when you attempt to reason with them. NEVER. They are mentally ill. It's that simple. So why the surprise? Why the cries on social media... We warned them million times that this would happen, f-ck... Harris predicted it with absolute accuracy. Everything she said... happened or is happening. Now, I see people claiming they didn't vote for this. Excuse me... Don't try to escape the consequences of your choices and the curse you imposed on others. You opted to become Russia 2. And, quite frankly... it's looking even dirtier and lower IQ than Russia. It's a Russia-wannabe and that's the most pathetic thing on Earth. And here we are... the rest of the world... caught between two psychopaths who want to play games. Europe -
January 19Jan 19 Member ^^Damn right! And after this I can't even put the blame on Trump and his posse anymore. It now lies on all his enablers in the GOP. Trump has shown us who he is, over and over again, each time more shocking than before, and still they do nothing. Some of them come over here and wring their hands and promise that they're on our side, but once they're back in Washington they cave and let Trump continue. Their cowardly behaviour always makes me think of Liz Cheney's words:"Tonight, I say this to my Republican colleagues who are defending the indefensible: There will come a day when Donald Trump is gone, but your dishonor will remain,"

January 21Jan 21 Member Prime Minister Mark Carney of Canada January 20, 2026, speech at Davos -- said what needed to be said! He didn't name names but it was clear what/who he meant. Carney said it's a "rupture", the old world order is "not coming back", and "nostalgia is not a strategy".(only the first minute or two in French, the rest is in English) Edited January 24Jan 24 by janea4old
January 21Jan 21 Member Well, at least he's backed down from his tariff threats. For now at least. Typical bully behaviour. As soon as someone stands up to him he caves.
