I think people are overestimating Trump's performance this time. He may beat the polls a bit again but he's done it less each cycle.

adly, that's how I feel about most Trump supporters.  Even if we defeat him in November and he goes away (to prison, to the sanitarium or nursing home, to Dubai, to...wherever), his diehards will never go away, nor will they ever give up their fight.

No, they won't give up the fight, and people like Elon Musk have re-opened the floodgates for them to be cyberbullies, despite several stating Musk returned "free speech" for both sides. It's a shïtfire.

If what happens on Election Day holds true to that prediction, then Kamala Harris is definitely on track to defeat Donald Trump and defeat him SOUNDLY, in such a way that local election boards will be hard-pressed to contest or reject without serious pushback from voters.  (To me, it's important that we defeat him so that it can't be argued that the election was "rigged.")

Unfortunately I think that even if Harris beat Trump in the same manner that Reagan won the 1984 election over Mondale, he and his cronies would still scream that it was rigged and claim that they were cheated out of a win.

Just what the NYT loves: evidence to suggest that the Dems are "in disarray."

Thanks, @wonderwoman1951!

Essentially similar to the Politico piece but they both say the same things.

I do hope the relationship between the two recovers. I suspect it will eventually since Joe is already saying she did what she had to do. I may not be happy about how any of it happened, but that Times article is right: Pelosi is a heatseeker. She has no calculus but winning.

I hope the maneuver to replace Biden is indeed worth it, lawd because if its not, then the blame surely will fall at the feet of Pelosi and Co.
