I don't think any of the three are great choices but of them I would go with Walz. I have a feeling it will be Kelly.

I am sadly not surprised at how many who claim to hate Trump have bent over backwards trying to defend and downplay his comment. People have spent a decade explaining and downplaying every fascist word out of his mouth.

New: VP Harris has told top advisers that she’s looking for a running mate who can “balance the ticket,” someone who is more of a “governing partner,” and effectively “someone with executive experience at the highest level.”

From that notus.org article, it seems that Walz would fit what she's looking for.

I like Kelly more but I get that Walz has more experience.

He's a good guy, but I don't think Walz is photogenic or young enough. I think Kelly is solid enough, but I'd prefer Shapiro or Beshear.

To me, it's just sad that the political climate in this country has become so toxic that we can't even entertain the notion of Pete Buttigieg as VP right now.  Maybe one day!  But not today.

Usha Vance was a registered Dem until marrying JD Vance, and went on to clerk for (yes) Brett Kavanaugh. Their relationship at Yale was also prodded forward by infamous "Tiger Mom" and Kavanaugh booster Amy Chua.

I think he's done a great job as a spokesman for the party and a decent job as Transportation Secretary, but I don't think, even beyond being gay, he will ever win over voters, as he didn't do well when put in the spotlight in 2020.

Kelly and Shapiro are both going to be used as excuses by many on the left or among Muslim-American voters to stay home or vote for Trump (admittedly they will always find a reason to not vote for her). Kelly was stupid to go have fun at that Netanyahu pity party. I have a feeling she will pick him because of his background but I hope not as background and actual impact on the ticket are very different. If she is choosing based on Arizona, I don't that's happening, the state is too racist.

I wish she'd go with Cooper or Beshear, which seemingly isn't happening. If you pick based on trying to win a swing state, you run the risk of losing that state and losing others in the process.

She's getting the usual soft sell "we can't believe she's doing this, she's so nice, we swear" puff pieces Ivanka always got. That's why the WSJ and others are trying to have the party push her out there to humanize him (what a great idea - I'm sure a deeply racist party will love her). I don't buy it. She and her husband (who every time I see him further fits the description I saw on Twitter of being a "racist Care Bear") will sacrifice anyone for power and wealth. I hope she enjoys her 5 minutes of fame before he has her hide in the corner for the rest of his career. If she's lucky he won't sic Thiel on her. Maybe she can go work for Hulk Hogan. I'm sure he'd love her.

He is especially odious as he stabbed a trans friend in the back. At least that friend has enough integrity to not go around running interference for him the way I see another "liberal" friend of his is doing now with the New York Post.

That Megyn Kelly interview is amazing in that someone actually thought it was a smart PR move. A Bobblehead choking on her own bitterness and rejection while being shot through cement, struggling to tolerate a conversation with a deeply sour, deeply jaundiced husk whose soul is as dark as his badly tattooed eyeshadow.

I just don't think there'll be that many of those staying away this time.

Sir that's not the quote you think it is... and Megyn Kelly looks like shït and like she'd rather be anywhere else.

Note the dates of each poll (since last Sunday) and the dramatic shifts from Biden's polling against Trump to Harris. As I've said, Harris is gaining fast.

i had dinner with friends last night who pointed out that there wa a time when a. comment like that would have been met with 40-point headlines and editorials in major newspapers expressing outrage.

but the news cycle is so crowded, it’s loss in the shuffle. but, you gotta love this from lindsey graham.
