October 10, 20169 yr Member Is there a reason the Republican party in America is so against what Im assuming is basically a version of socialised medicine? It works literally everywhere else so why not there? The main thrust of the conservative movement of the last 80 years has been this deep resentment to social security and thus all so-called socialized programs. This goes back to FDR. They have been trying to destroy these programs since the 30s and the way they have gone about it the last 30 years is to cut taxes. Then with taxes cut they don't have the money they used to so then they say "we can't afford food stamps and whatnot". Well of course they can't, they just cut taxes. By starving government they hope to one day do away with all the social programs. Right. Beyond that it's also fear of government overreach - paranoia that the government is out to get them (like the "death panels"). Of course they're fine with using the government the way they want to overreach, but don't do it to them or they'll crush it. Opposing and killing things and stifling are the only thing the GOP actually knows how to do. They even hate libraries. The moderators sucked. Every time these two were about to go at it about who did what when, that brainless moderator would say "sorry, we have to move on". But why do you have to move on? If they want to get into a ten minute discussion on taxes or Syria, let them. That's better than these 2 minute content free bullet point formats. He wanted to really get into her emails, and she wanted to really get into a bunch of stuff. So let them. His taxes or lack thereof and her emails have been two of the major themes of the election. Who really needs to hear Hillary says Trump has lovely children? Save that crap for a hallmark card. Anderson Cooper isn't even a journalist, he's a spoiled rich boy who looked good on TV and giggles a lot. Some guys have all the luck! He didn't come off that way during his documentary with his mom. Although his giggle I can't stand. He has the worst laugh I have ever heard. It is very annoying....LOL
October 10, 20169 yr Member Someone GIFed Al Roker's expression when the Today Show announced Billy Bush's suspension. It looks like "I Told You So" face for sure. @winnersusedrugs how is this pic.twitter.com/Y2KRH7CE2E — (((Daniel Feit))) (@feitclub) October 10, 2016
October 10, 20169 yr Member So Paul Ryan says he will no longer spend time on supporting Trump but will focus on House races. Does he un-endorse Trump? Well Next Paul Ryan assured angry members he is NOT unendorsing Trump Coward of the century, the gutless wonder.
October 10, 20169 yr Member they all are gutless.....but they are EXACTLY where they should be after 60 yrs. of their hateful mess. I have NO sympathy for that party or any of its members. They put themselves before the people, thought they could once again win with the same hateful garbage they've always used and NOW the chickens are having a feast on their dying carcass. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/acts-of-faith/wp/2016/10/10/after-donald-trumps-remarks-muslims-light-up-twitter-with-muslimsreportstuff/?postshare=5071476109448991&tid=ss_fb
October 10, 20169 yr Member A highly noteworthy article asking why there is virtually no in-depth exploration of Hillary's supporters. Efforts to explain Donald Trump’s base have left Hillary Clinton supporters on the back burner
October 10, 20169 yr Member A highly noteworthy article asking why there is virtually no in-depth exploration of Hillary's supporters. Efforts to explain Donald Trump’s base have left Hillary Clinton supporters on the back burner Thanks for sharing this. So many people buy into the Beltway media obsession of Hillary not connecting with people. I have a newsflash for even those here who continue to believe she's unpopular. Having volunteered for a few weeks(I even made a road trip to Michigan a couple weekends ago), people love her. They are enthusiastic and working their butts off for her. The phone bank I work at a couple of days a week is always packed with volunteers but guess what. They are not all white men. They are white, black, Asian, latino, indian, middle eastern, and the list goes on. The reason the people who are passionate about her like me(I am a white woman by the way and there are lots of us and also white men volunteering too) don't get talked about is because it's not newsworthy. THe Beltway doesn't care for people who love Hillary, and there are plenty across demographics. It's why I get so frustrated when there are articles about lack of enthusiasm and how unpopular she is because it's there. Hillary Clinton is the second most admired woman in the world today(second to Merkel) yet I am supposed to believe she's wildly unpopular because the GOP insists she is. By that note so is Obama yet his approval ratings are sky high. The white MSM continues to only want to focus on a dying demographic while this election will be the most diverse in history. I was reading Michael Moore's tweets and just 3 weeks ago about how he was chastising and buying into the narrative than Hillary was going to lose. Now he's taking credit for his words inspiring people. Guess what we don't need him for inspiration. But I think the white males on the left allow themselves to be so convinced by the right male MSM media, that they then act like the world is over and the GOP is taking over everything. Had I not gotten involved, I might have continued my own pessimism.

October 10, 20169 yr Member And this is why when people get upset that you don't take InfoWars seriously, you ignore them. This is now beyond The Onion. It's pathetic. And it's playing into the hands of lunatics. No one even knows what Hell smells like. Unless it's Trump once that thing is taken off his head for the night.
October 10, 20169 yr Member . And it's playing into the hands of lunatics. No one even knows what Hell smells like. Unless it's Trump once that thing is taken off his head for the night. There is a lun right now on CNN who is still supporting him. CNN is playing a tape where Trump supported the Clintons over the women he brought to debate...calling them(the females) names and how he was supporting Bill....LOL I guess I was so turned off by the debate that I missed Trump calling Hillary the devil .......sigh
