It just clouded everything.... The only reasons I didn't find the Nelson's reviews appropriate is because they came after the ratings....I don't think ratings should be testimony to anyone's taste. People will tune in for Jerry Springer in a dress on Judge Judy. And while the show is definitely better than much of what's happening on soaps- I still find it to be contrived.
